I’ve had this watch for about a week now and I am extremely satisfied! I purchased this as a daily wear for my upcoming job as a mechanic, and from my experience so far I think it will hold up quite well. The bracelet was very comfortable and was easy to resize for my smaller wrist by removing a couple links. The lume on the dial is easy to read for about 30-45 mins in total darkness.I am very satisfied with the day/date function as well as the polishing on the case and bracelet. The price is so low for a watch of such quality! I will definitely be adding another seiko to my budding collection when possible!

Delivery was very Quick. No instructions were with my watch. I never had a winding/auto watch before so had to go to YouTube. To make sure I didn't do anything wrong. Once I set date and time it's been spot on ever since. At my work I'm very active bumping the watch it things though out the day. The "glass" is not scratched surprisingly a few times I thought "Oh crap" but still looking new. I used to only wear a Timex Expedition. Which was the perfect size for me plus the Indoglow. This watch is almost that size it's just a bit taller off the wrist not huge by any means, but the Illumination you get in the dark is amazing with this watch. This is the most expensive watch I ever bought and it's worth every penny.

At that time the department store where I purchased the watch acknowledged the defect and ordered a replacement. I was very happy to receive the replacement but within one month of normal use, that watch began losing 20 minutes a day and eventually stopped. I’ve been wearing this watch for about a month now and I’m absolutely in love with it. I’m very much a watch wearer but always digital or a smartwatch, this is my first mechanical watch and I certainly recommend it. The dial is easy to read and the lume lasts all night; mine is running about 3-4 seconds fast per day which surpasses my expectations. I’ve gone in the water with this watch and have had zero issues with its water resistance. The NATO strap makes wearing the watch very comfortable and it never moves around on my wrist. Being in the Navy, I wanted a watch that harkens back to the classic field watches of the 20th century and this hits the nail on the head.
The aged patina caught my eye in a watch cabinet. The leather inserts on the silicone strap are different, but suits it so well. The watch case is matte. Each piece looks slightly different. I’ve seen a few. I really like it as everyday watch as it is tough. It doesn’t really show scratches nor the occasional knock. The hands and face can lack contrast but you get used to it. Lume is good. Accuracy is very good. I actually bought a second one in case anything should happen to the first. That’s how much I like it. I also bought its brother, the 80K. Silicone can attract fluff etc in winter, but it cleans up easily. Overall it’s an interesting piece I really enjoy wearing.
I’m a watch nerd. I buy watches because I like them. That said, I have several Swiss watches and still love this one. This clean piece gives so much bang for the buck. It has a fantastic bracelet and beautiful lines. It wears as advertised at 40mm. The gold highlights snatch the light and sparkle but the entire package is very subtle and soft-spoken. Fellow watch nerds see it and insist on getting to look at it and are usually shocked by the affordability. The styling is timeless and able to diversify. The quality is amazing and it holds time well within COSC specs. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

This one did not disappoint either, although it does have one small flaw. I'll detail some pros before I go into the cons. The case size is perfect for my 6.5" wrist. The lugs are not too long and it will fit lots of straps easily. The lume is good and the centering of the dial is just about flawless. Time keeps well within spec for this movement, the one I got runs about +5 sec a day or a little more. Now for the not so good. My example has a very tiny scratch or blemish on the dial right by the "Seiko" logo, so small that it cannot be seen unless you're in direct sunlight, or when viewing under a loupe. A quality watch at a good price. Mine runs about six seconds or less fast a day. It looks both dressy and sporty. The band is acceptable, but you can easily find other 20mm bands to replace it. The Hardex glass is domed so you have to be careful about scatching it. The watch fits my 6 inch wrist without a problem. After a month of wearing, I have not run into any problems. I get compliments on its looks. I'm very satisfied with this handsome field watch with gold numbers that catch the light to make them even more visible. Gorgeous. And its a Seiko. Quick shipping from Macy's. No regrets in the purchase.
