Seiko 5 Sports Men's Automatic Watch

Looks great - solid looking without being too big. It's a very good price for an automatic. Nice that the mechanism is on show on the watch back too. I tested its 10bar waterproofness by wearing it for a surf yesterday and all was fine. Bezel feels solid and clicks pleasingly. Good luminosity at night. Very happy!

Beautiful Watch - Comfortable to Wear

The watch is as gorgeous in person as in the pictures - SO stylish. The band is almost infinitely adjustable making it one of the most comfortable watches I own. However adjusting the length is a lot of trial end error, and closing the adjustment is quite difficult. No leverage area and cannot use screwdriver or you might bend the pin. So far the time tolerance is as advertised. The 42 hour reserve seems off, if you don't wear it for a day it usually stops and needs to be reset. But resetting is so easy no worries. Oh, and no $15 to 20 batteries to replace every year or so. The watch says made in Japan, but the band is Chinese which is my only complaint. I try very hard not to buy Chinese.

Couldn't be happier!

An outstanding diver for the rest of us. Beautifully made with a no frills automatic movement and a "nice at any price" nylon strap. Yeah, the lum could be a little brighter/last a bit longer, and a Sapphire Crystal lens would have been amazing, but you absolutely can not beat what you get for the price (especially when it's on sale). I get compliments on it all the time.I have no doubt that I will wear this watch for a long, long time.

Excellent stylish Seiko dive-style sport watch.

Excellent Seiko watch, I especially like the "blacked out" finish on the case and bracelet. This particular colorway is a bit hard to find, so when I came across this listing I jumped on it. I didn't think I would like the bracelet, I've always worn watches on the strap. However, after getting the proper tools and watching how-to vids on YouTube, I re-sized the bracelet to a perfect fit and it is quite comfortable. Very pleased with it, it is the best watch in my collection. Would buy similar items from this seller.

Great daily beater

The watch looks great no doubt about it; the only thing I'd improve visually is the bezel, it doesn't look cheap but just could be more sleek in my opinion. The see through case back is a nice feature and allows you to see Seiko's in-house movement. About the movement, it's about 30 seconds +/- a day or so, it's not too bad but I do reset the time every three or four days. However, it is a day/date movement which is not something you normally see at this price range so I think that makes up for the time is loses. The Lumebrite lasts a few hours but really it only stays bright for about 30 minutes, after that it's pretty dim and the face is mineral crystal and not sapphire which is a bit disappointing but I suppose it does keep the cost down. Great watch but not for scuba diving

I've had this watch for about 6 months. It's my first mesh strap, and I can't believe how comfortable it is. The watch is pretty large at 42-43mm but the mesh straight edge strap helps it wear like a smaller watch. A big help for anyone with a wrist size at/under about 6.75 inches. I'm glad my salesperson recommends it over the silicon or nato strap models. If you can, go try it on in the store. Everything else is what you'd expect from a solid manufacture like Seiko. Great lume, bezel action, well regulated movement. If this is your first, be sure to learn how to take care of automatic watches (YouTube). This model of watch is based on the popular SKX line of Seiko diving watches, but this is not dive rated - not a big deal for most people.

Hard to beat for the price!

I wanted something that would become my daily wrist warrior, and I think I found it! I personally love the green band, and I love the Lume on the dial! The day/date feature is very nice as well! It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the case is a shiny black color, that resembles gun metal in certain lighting.I know that some people have said that the band seems more brown, but mine does not. It's very much a olive drab green.Thank you Seiko for making a great watch for my first automatic!

Love this watch!

This watch looks like a million dollars and has so many great features. I own several Seiko automatics and have been wanting this model with the manual winding option for sometime now. The stainless steel shark mesh strap is comfortable and stylish. This is an incredible watch at an incredible price!

Strap color misrepresented-not even close to green

The transaction was flawless. Boscov’s even called to verify I made the purchase as I’ve never conducted an online transaction with them before. However, when the watch arrived, the strap, which is shown as green, was brown. Not even close to the color depicted. I contacted Boscov’s and received a reply that they will look into it. They never replied again. Either Seiko or Boscov’s misrepresented the watch in the image, but Boscov’s doesn’t seem interested in addressing the matter.
