When I received this watch I was really pleasantly surprised at how classy and versatile it is. Being a silver case with gold hands, a dark background and a tan leather band it goes with everything, is subtle despite my outlandish description and is classy when in a suit but still functional when surfing or spear fishing with a 100m water rating. This is an alpha males watch and I assure you, you will love looking at it on your wrist or noticing others notice it on your wrist.

I wanted a watch which was as similar in design to my old Accurist as possible. This Seiko fitted the bill better than others that I looked at. Good clasp but fitting it needs getting used to. I bought it from H Samuel on line and took it to their local shop to adjust the bracelet. Good product overall.

Very pleased with my new watch, I have two other models and although I am happy with both I liked the gold Finnish of this current purchase. However I am not getting on very well with the strap? It may be that because I have a thin wrist and the watch itself is slightly heavy, I find it keeps sliding around. Is it possible to buy a metal strap as wiwth other models that I seem to manage better with? I'm very happy with all my watches and this is only a little problem.BMJ
A very impressive watch. Large clear face (to aid my aging eyesight), quite light in weight despite it's size and a soft wheel to set time and date. Never fail to get comments from other people when they see the watch. Can highly recommend this Seiko model.

A good looking stylish watch at a reasonable price. I purchased this Seiko watch to replace a very old Seiko automatic which sadly is gaining two to three minutes a day and would cost more to service than buying a new one. I particularly like the fact that this Seiko SNE529 PI is solar powered and the rechargeable battery should last 10 years before replacing. The cons to this watch are : The day date window is a bit small and setting the day and date involves a lot of winding of the crown wheel.
