I got this watch for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. He said he had been looking for something brown and good and this watch stood out to the both of us! It has a very classy look to it while still having a little extra flare and is an absolute compliment magnet! The closure is unlike any I have ever seen before and the watch can be adjusted by the strap avoiding an unwanted trip to the jeweler for sizing. Highly recommend (it dies require some finesse so don't buy it if you or the gift recipient has hulk like tendencies) otherwise stop looking at buy it! You won't be disappointed!!

More like 4.5/5 stars. Beautiful dial, hands, display back, etc. Overall great watch for the price. Very disappointed with the hardlex crystal. I'm very careful with my watches but I got one small scratch on it and I have no idea how.

After 2 years of watch collecting I finally got myself a Seiko and this model look like a £1000 watch on your wrist. Now most gold watches can look cheap but on this dress watch they have done a perfect job with the PVC coating. Only 1 gripe I have is the leather strap felt quite flimsy and cheap feeling but I bought a alligator strap to replace.
Absolutely amazing dial, very gorgeous brown dial with rose gold case & metalwork. Is an amazing evening wear timepiece, and not so tiny either at 40.5 mm diameter. I heartilly recommend it as a dres watch purchase.

This is a great watch for the price - great looking and I love the brown and rose gold combo. The dial looks black in some light and really pops in the sunlight and brighter light. Very unique look! Assume that this will be the traditional reliability that Seiko is known for - and no reason to think it won't. If that is the case it was a great bargain!
Was recommended the cocktail time by Hodinkee. I got the black SRPB43. Loved it so much & got so many compliments. I picked up this one a year later. When I opened it up to take a pic... It literally blinged like this onto the lens! I did not add this star shine! It's so awesome. It's so beautiful. I wear the black one to red carpet events & daily. Will wear this too. I won't rave about it as so many reviews already do. All I can say is... I love this. Compliments my SRPB43. Next year I will save up for SSA359 & this will be the watch trifecta I die with.
