This product looks smaller than I thought, the price is also to high than other ones sold at amazon which are bigger and of better quality than this product. At amazon this product's price is $29.99, why is it that the same product is sold at FSA store at a price of over $90.00. Three time the price at other outlets. Please I need a refund of price difference or I stop buying from this store.thank you.

Accurate and reasonably priced thermometer

If you can get round the initially complicated display and instructions it seems easy to use and for those you do not want to put a thermometer in their mouth, the forehead version is a viable alternative to the much more expensive ear ones. You can test air/room temperature too, on a different setting which is quite useful. Seems accurate and certainly better than the infrared pointing ones which are notoriously inaccurate!

Fast, accurate!

Highly recommended thermometer. Our child recently had a fever and this thermometer quickly detected his temperature without touching his forehead. Super quick and convenient - highly recommended!!!!!

For peace of mind

We got this thermometer during the peak of the pandemic and it has been so useful. The batteries last a long time, and it is our go to main thermometer in our home now because it is touchless and just scans the temperature. It can even take the temp of the house!

Good, not Great

My husband and I like the simple look of the thermometer. However, the screen is a little difficult to understand. Sometimes it takes two clicks to turn the thermometer on. I wouldn't use it to store past readings. I do have to say, the green light is the best feature because it automatically mentions if the temperature is good or not.

I am very satisfied with

I am very satisfied with the purchase. The thermometer is easy to use and instantaneous on the temperature read out.Dual modes allow you to switch from body temperature to object temperature such as surfaces, Hvac vent read outs. Display is very easy to see and read.

Inaccurate

I had to use them to screen every hospital patient during the first 2 years of COVID. I'd test a basket of them on myself and get different answers +/- 4 degrees. No way to recalibrate!

Love it

This is awesome! Now you must make sure you're holding it close or you'll get a wrong reading. Also I always do it three times just to make sure I get correct reading. Love it!

Poor Purchase

The directions for this thermometer are confusing. The controls don’t operate the same as the directions which is probably because the directions seem incomplete. Whenever I try to use it, it gives me the same temperature of 91.3. I know that’s wrong because it’s too low and it’s always the same. It’s too late to send it back (who saves all those boxes?) so unless I can figure this thing out on my own, I’m stuck with it.

Sejoy thermometer - beware of inaccurate reading

Please beware - Have just received this product and tested it against a Braun ear thermometer to see whether the readings were accurate. The reading was out by -1C, which is not good if you are using this to check for virus symptoms. It says it has been calibrated to give an inner body reading but clearly hasn't. It also doesn't register a negative temperature (less than 36.5C) as an issue when this could also be an indication of a fever too. Not a reliable product and would like to know whether Boots did thorough tests on this. The product came in unsealed packaging (no protective seals), feels cheaply made compared with Braun products and the insert says is was made in April 2020 so straight off a rapid production line from China.Genuine article or not?
