L'Aquarelle Sennelier has been produced the same way for more than a century using the best pigments and the highest quality Kordofan gum Arabic as a binder. This blend of natural ingredients produces colors that have a smooth, light texture and offer vibrant, colorful hues. The combination of Arabic gum and honey offers an exceptional application quality that produces excellent wash. This base is then mixed with pigments and carefully milled. Sennelier makes sure to wet the pigments in purified water (without mineral salts) for 24 hours before mixing with the binder. This improves the way the colours and the adhesive fuse together, which in turn enhances the full beauty of the colours.
