These are amazingly good earphones. The sound quality is really clear and loud and so is the voice quality of the microphone. I use them regularly for my work and entertainment- for online meetings and then for watching movies etc. These are being used with mobile with consistent quality
Bought these as my headphones died and have used Sennheisers quite a bit. Decent enough but the bass is weaker than previous Sennheisers I've used. Will do well as a back up pair or if you aren't fussed about bass.
Missing the punchy bass of CX 180 and that sparkling listening experience.However CX 80s has done great job in stereo suppression and balancing the overall sound stage.I still want CX 180, CX 213, CX 275 models back.Why Sennheiser has discontinued them when they were ruling the hearts of listeners?

Bought these as a straight replacement for older Sennheiser headphones that had developed a problem with one of the cables. Great sound for an inexpensive pair of headphones.
These beauties have a snug fit and deliver a well-balanced, clear and rich sound. With a sensible amount of cable they're great value for money too. Sound is super with a decent depth to the bass, which is topped with a clear and crisp midrange. They can deliver plenty of volume, too much for me, I'm more Classic FM.Control is simple, with a remote and mic on the cable for the right earphone. It’s a two-button job and works perfectly with my Samsung Android smartphone, giving you volume and stop/start functionality. Given the price, it's hard to find fault with these beautiful buds!
