The earpads are easy to replace and are very comfortable while using the headphones. There is virtually no pressure on the ears so they can be used for long periods quite comfortably.

A necessary expense

The yes/no questions in this review are too general. In fact, the Sennheiser pads are excellent sonically and comfort-wise. However, they lose their structural integrity in a couple years, and are relatively expensive.

Buy the real thing and listen in comfort

These are the "authorized" ear cups. You can tell the difference by the fact they are softer, thicker, and fit just a bit better than the $7 replacements. Honestly, if you have the cash to buy the HD650's in the 1st place, don't scrimp on earcups. Your head will thank you for it later!

Exactly as advertised - headphones back in fighting shape.

What can I say? They fit perfectly and now sound great again. The genuine replacements are more expensive than aftermarket parts, but they don't have to be replaced often and I knew exactly what I was getting.

Excellent sound and adjustable controls. For being used, it was in excellent condition.

Fit perfectly

I especially like that they do not have the black shinny coating. That coating is coming off my old ones leaving black stuff around my ears.

Nothing beats authentic

Nothing like the authentic pads. Nothing like fresh pads! Wish they were a little cheaper, but this hobby isn't cheap.
