Uncomfortable ear tips ( same issue as the IE 200 , IE 300 and IE 600 that I own)Inconsistent ( very) switching between ipgone and ipadSound is dark and EQ , despite 5 bands after latest update is marginally functional.ANC is fixed ( no choice in degree of noise canceling) and is not very effective compared to the Sony XM-4, Airpod Pro 1 ). Bulky and edgy.Jabra Elite 7 and 85t have worse ANC, but first one has a much more ergonomic fit and passive isolation.very "dark sound" regardless of EQGet uncomfortable after a couple of hours.ANC is the biggest letdown, software, firmware integration is half baked and they make a loud pop sound when switching sourcces.Voice prompts are annoying and loud.Worse TWS bought in the last 3 years.Easily.

I am an owner of the Sennheiser Momentum TW2's, and have used the TW3s for about 2 months now. There are clear ups in the features compared to the TW2s. Key upgrades: - The ability to use one earbud at a time.- Slightly better sound quality.- Significantly better latency than TW2s, with almost no lag in the touch controls.- Better ANC and Transparency mode.- Slightly smaller case than TW2s (but still pretty massive compared to Airpod Pro 2).Key issues:- After about a month and a half of use, the left earbud gave out and started sounding half as loud as the right one. I needed to thoroughly clean them with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and thankfully they've started working normally again.- They do not disconnect and charge even when both earbuds are placed in the ... It seems the earbuds are extremely sensitive to any kind of dust/moisture/oils; you need to thoroughly dry charging points before placing the earbuds back in the case.- The earbuds don't feel like the same premium quality as the TW2s did (my personal opinion). The TW3s are almost entirely plastic.- They feel a bit strange in the ear. I feel the need to consistently readjust them in my ears; it feels like the earbuds do not make a perfect seal around the ears like the TW2s did.- Not an TW3 issue, but Sennheiser customer service is not reliable. It took me 2 days to find a way to contact them (through email) and they did not respond to my message until 2 weeks later and provided outdated RMA links that did not work.My review is critical, but I rank these 4 out of 5 despite all the issues because I buy Sennheiser products for the sound quality. I feel the sound quality and feature upgrades (particularly the latency fix) are a clear up from the TW2s. Sennheiser needs to work out the bugs but these are definitely a step in the right direction.

I felt it was time to update from the Original True Wireless In Ears having discovered these in my recent visit to the Springvale Homemaker Store. My biggest issue with the original was the battery life, which was average at best but was tolerable due to the excellent sound from the headphones.I had avoided the True Wireless 2 due to the initial middling reviews it received stating that compromises had been made to the sound quality, a big No in my book.So having purchased the True Wireless 3 pretty much sight unseen I was hoping for the best!Well I am pretty happy overall. I have been running on my initial charge for nearly two weeks now. To put that in context I use the headphones about three times a week for about an hour to 45 minutes during exercises.

Pretty little box of tricks, smaller than previous model (TW2) I owned.Got some extra memory foam type tips for these. The seal is magic and the sound is truly immersive, deep and bright. The Smart Control app makes a real difference in creating a unique sound profile, such that when switching back and forth, I couldnt believe how I had been listening to anything else!Controls take a while to get used to (as with all buds)Much improved batteryLove that you can now use 1 bud at a time and that you can switch between devices. Not having this functionality before was not an issue because I bought the previous model for sound not features. Now I'm just even more satisfied than before.Would definitely recommend.
Got these for my IPhone 14 pro about 2 months ago. Waited to write this review to be able to paint a true picture. Starting with:+ The positives: great music quality, will not disappoint for a pair of in-ear buds. Great build quality, the case and the buds are very sturdy, the magnets hold on to the buds for deal life and never let go, haven't had problems with the size of the earbuds so far and the fit pretty good in my ears (had to replace the one for my left ear with a larger size though). Have been wearing them during workouts, studying, working etc,. I am pleased with the noise cancelling, It's not perfect but is does what it's supposed to. Touch controls are sensitive enough and over all my experience with these buds have been really good. There is are some ... MoreGot these for my IPhone 14 pro about 2 months ago. Have been wearing them during workouts, studying, working etc,. I am pleased with the noise cancelling, It's not perfect but is does what it's supposed to. Touch controls are sensitive enough and over all my experience with these buds have been really good. There is are some drawbacks though that I should mention. Before that, I should mention I have updated these buds/all my devices to the latest version.- The negative:Based on my experience with these pair of earbuds, with an IPhone 14 pro, a gaming laptop (Windows 11) and a Linux (Ubuntu 22), there are some connection issues. Throughout the last ~60 days, there have been more than 10 times when I had to take the buds out and put in my ear, hear ''connected" and play audio just to realize it's not playing. Putting the buds back into their case and redoing the process has worked every time. They have multi-point connectivity, meaning you can connect to 2 devices at the same time. But my experience with this has been far from seamless. Sometimes I'm listening to sth on my phone, and the music suddenly stops for no reason. And more importantly, any signal from the pc overrides the current stream from the phone, meaning the music stops if I get an email notification on my pc. Muting the pc doesn't help either. There have been more than 10 times where I had to put the buds back in their case and take them out just to connect to to 2 devices because it didn't connect to the 2nd device. Now I only connect to both devices if most of my work is on the pc.One last issue with these is that, whenever I send a voice/video message, I hear "call ended" at the end of it. This is quite bothersome for me because I tend to send lots of voice messages, but I have to hear the lady say "call ended" at the end of any kind of voice recording.
This is my third sennhesier product. My first was the greatest thing ever, my second was nice packaging and presentation but the actual sound quality was disappointing, this one is a complete nightmare. You cannot use the product as advertised unless you can install the app on the device you are using it on. Can you do that? Go to the website...it'll tell you it's no problem....but then go to google play store or ios store it 'conventiently offers it from'....and the answer becomes PROBABLY NOT! It doesn't run on any windows machine, it doesn't run on any android tv device I have, it doesn't run on alot of phones. I don't know what sennheiser is thinking, but there is no way to modify and set the preferences on this product without this app and chances are you ... MoreThis is my third sennhesier product. It doesn't run on any windows machine, it doesn't run on any android tv device I have, it doesn't run on alot of phones. I don't know what sennheiser is thinking, but there is no way to modify and set the preferences on this product without this app and chances are you cannot use the app on your devices. They don't even offer the app through their own services, only through google play and mac ios store! What a joke. You will need to borrow a phone that supports the app and calibrate it there and save it to the device....only guess what! This device only supports connection to a single device at a time...so that makes calibrating for a device without the app a nightmare now doesn't it! I remember all these reviews saying "1 device is not a big deal" "you just download the app and you are good" "this works on any device with bluetooth"..."you can watch movies/video great with this"....."the battery is good".....these people are lying to you!Now let's talk about the actual headphones. THEY HAVE NO BATTERY. A woman will scream into your eardrum at MAX VOLUME (you cannot change this without the app if at all, and the manual says only SOME voice screams can be disabled) 6 hours of use into a full charge. THen you will have to place it in the case. The case takes over 3 hours to charge to full. The case will enable you to charge the headphones about 3 times with about 1.5 hours of waiting if not longer for the headphones to recharge to full 6 hours of use again. And this all assumes you keep the case closed. If you want to leave the case opened like it advertises you can, the battery slowly drains and the box is dead within half a day! You cannot store the headphones outside the case, that also eats into the battery life and prevents you from recharging the existing loss of battery life you were already dealing with. Speaking of recharging the box you have to REALLLY push the wire in there for it to start charging, I spent 5 hours trying to get it to charge only to realize it requires a ridiculous amount of force to connect.....why? Cause the light comes on even if u don't have it snapped it making it seem like it is charging,....only its not, confusing. The touch commands are ridiculous, you will press tap commands while trying to trigger hold commands....then have to go and undo the tap commands after. Putitng these in your ears and not triggering touch commands is quite the feat. The instruction manual is horrible, I honestly don't know what the right way to wear these things is...you can go and look on the picture showing the right vs wrong way to put the plugs in, the picture is the exact same.Let's talk about the connection. I don't know how you watch movies on this thing. The delay is too noticeable, the lip sync is sketchy. WHy is there no wire offered with the product?!??!?! THat would rid of any delay problems, but nope that's too much to offer a consumer now isn't it. Instead they pretend they have this new latest technology that makes the delay unnoticeable, and they plant reviews in the outlets saying it's fine for music/video. It's not fine.Let's talk about the sound. I don't know what to think of the sound. It has a heavy bass with some kick....which I like...but it's too loud. The bass just eats into the vocals and it makes many songs sound bad and tiring. The vocals do not have kick. Take stuff like slipknot which uses bass and lyrics....the lyrics when they start sound muffled and like ur listening behind a wall. That's not good. The base beat honestly tires ur ears....it is way way way too predominant and loud when listening to music. boom boom boom booom is what ur ears have to deal with every song. So unless you are only listening to certain instrumental only songs that are mostly bright and dont use drums.... you are going to get tired of using these pretty fast. Most of teh sounds have a muffled feel to them which is very confusing, cause you will get some really clear background instrumentals come in that are bass heavy. You will hear thiings you normally don't hear, but the soundstage is still very limited feeling on these things....speakers are going to be better, period...these will not serve as a speaker replacement at all. Bright sounding music will sound muffled on these...again I'm using them right now and my ears are just tired of this BOOM BOOM BOOOM BOOM from the drums of every single song. These things are going to cause shellshock using them daily.Reviews are all lying about this product. It only lasts 6.5 hours at best, then it requires charging with a woman screaming "RECHARGE HEADSET" in your ear making you jump and hold ur ear in pain. Charging has to be done in the box. The box with the 'premium fabric case'. This fabric cannot be gotten wet, it is a nightmare to clean this box cause of the gross fabric. But hey, people give it an extra star on their reviews cause the box LOOK PREMIUM ooo. This box is hard to store, fits horribly in your pocket, is terrible size and and can only be opened with two hands in a ridiculous fashion and it does not open easily and snaps shut suddenly like a venus fly trap does.I am so tired and angry of reviews misrepresenting products. I find a product I want....and findout it has been discontinued because it got low reviews by these outlets...so I find a product I CAN buy with 5 star reviews and these outlets just plain lie about the product to you, everyone is a liar. I'm sick of it. I contacted sennhsier with my issues with the product (not easy to do either), and their advice was to literally borrow a friend's phone and calibrate the app via that to my liking....I don't know what to think about these design decisions, I really don't. This has software loaded onto it that installs on windows devices!!!! They MADE IT So IT WORKS ON WINDOWS and smart tv devices ETC....but they couldn't be bothered to include the software for these platforms THEY ADVERTISE and made other software to support and run! It makes no sense!!! FIX THIS! Clearly when they developed this, they have a copy of the app running on some kind of linux/windows os!! Let us download it cmon! booom boom booom in my ear every song....I need to find songs with 0 drums at this point...but even the guitar starts to sound like a drum BOOM BOOOm at some point.
I would absolutely avoid these if possible. I usually try to buy from brands known for being reliable, and over the years haven't had to replace/fix many, if any electronics, under warranty. The Momentum True Wireless 3's, on the other hand, are the most unreliable things I have ever owned - and this is coming from someone who used to be a big Sennheiser fan (which was why I picked up the MTW3 and was excited to use them!)The first pair I bought stopped working less than 24 hours after getting them. They sounded great the first day, but when I went to listen to them the next morning one of the earbuds started making strange beeping sounds, playing audio very quietly before it finally stopped working. I sent them in for a warranty replacement, and the new pair they sent me worked fine! I thought maybe I just got unlucky and got a bad pair initially. However, after a few months, the next pair also stopped working - so yet again I had to send them back in. After about three weeks they were sent back (supposedly repaired?), but immediately upon trying them the touch controls on the right earbud aren't working!I'm kinda fed up with them at this point, especially since they make you pay for the shipping one way (shipping in Canada is expensive!). I don't want to keep paying to ship them back, only to have them fail again, so have moved on to a different (non-Sennheiser) pair of buds.
Fit and connectivity are 5 stars but unfortunately the sound is more entry level quality. I thought I would try these as I’ve been through 2 sets of Bose QC2 with neither making 8 months until I had charging and connectivity issues. I won’t miss that but I already miss the sound quality as the Momentum 3 sound muddy regardless of EQ settings. Actually having an EQ option should have been a red flag. At this price point I expected them to at least be comparable to the Bose as some reviewers on here had suggested. Hard to believe that they actually tried the Bose as indicated because there really isn’t any comparison in dynamic range. To them I can only suggest that perhaps wearing hearing protection during prolonged high DB exposure may have been the way to go. As ... I’ve had these headphones for about 4 months, and now they are completely unusable. The problems started to creep in slowly, and have gotten steadily worse. I have tried everything I could find online for preventing/fixing these problems with no luck (cleaning regularly and removing the screen under the ear insert thing)What’s crazy is that these are quite expensive for consumer grade headphones, and these problems seem to be consistent across lots of reviews. I love sennheiser, but these have been the worst headphones I’ve ever owned. Here are the problems:Active noise cancelling was awesome at first. It slowly started to degrade in quality over time, with really strange frequencies being accentuated when I move my head, chirping sounds etc. Now, turning it on ... I love sennheiser, but these have been the worst headphones I’ve ever owned. Here are the problems:Active noise cancelling was awesome at first. It slowly started to degrade in quality over time, with really strange frequencies being accentuated when I move my head, chirping sounds etc. Now, turning it on makes the audio sound extremely thin (I’m talking no frequencies lower than like 500hz) and it’s unlistenable. On top of that, it makes really annoying chirping sounds constantly. It’s comical how bad it is.So, I thought to myself, okay I’ll just use these as headphones without noise cancellation. Unfortunately I can’t even do that. The left ear will randomly stop working, the volume suddenly gets extremely low, (full blast out of my phone sounds about half way turned up) the headphones rarely charge when I put them in the case and they sometimes don’t want to connect to my phone. All in all, insanely poor quality.

But this specific model is a BIG LET DOWN!!my previous headphones were cx 400BT true wireless which is a cheaper model, worked well for me for 3 years! I would like to have customization for that feature, I would like to be able to controll it!- the loudness of the headphones, I have pretty average hearing and in a quiet environment the minimum loudness is VERY LOUD! if you have same issue as me try to use "volume control app" its free and can make any headphones louder & quiter, eg quiter by 10%, 20% etc- can't access anti-wind feature via touch controls, only via appthe biggest let down:- case battery life issue, I assume its a software bug and not hardwareI use headphones usually around 30mins while commuting, put then back in case, but after taking them out 10% of battery life in case is gone, so if you do the math, you can use them around 11 times before case battery goes to 0, if you calculate it all together its only about 5-6hours of total use! instead of 28 hours!!! I don't use them much but I need to charge the case at least once a week. In contrast, my old cx 400bt has significantly better life, and I charged them only once a fortnight if not even less then that.I think its an obvious bug. I mean it make sense if you use headphones for like 7hours straight, then put htem back in case and case gets -10%, but when you use headphones for like 20-30mins, why the case still goes down by 10%???Please, repair this BUG in the next update!!!- and the biggest issue of these headphones,is a POOR BUILD QUALITYI honestly think they are not gonna last me 3 years like last headphones, considering its price its a bit let down in qualityP.S. I've noticed that my old headphones were made by Sennheiser, but this ones by Sonova?! is this the reason for poor build quality?! the new company decided to cheap out on building materials?!
