I love using this hair dryer everyday when styling my hair. It so easy to use and the controls can be easily adjusted too. You can customize the amount of heat/airflow which I really like or you can use the automatic settings that this product offers. The detachable styling concentrator works so well at directing the heat/air to the area that I am drying. This hair dryer is so powerful yet it won’t damage my hair. It uses iq technology and ionized air to give long lasting styles without any heat damage. My hair feels great after using this hair dryer and it’s so full of volume. I highly recommend this product.

This is like such a good quality blow dryer. It dries my hair so fast without feeling so much of the heat. It’s super impressive and also not as noisy. My daughter has very thick hair and it seems to dry it a lot faster then with the other blow dryers we have purchased. It’s small and lightweight. The handle offers a great grip too. This is a must have for anyone who blow dries their hair

Great for fine, 3c curls, with matching diffuser!

Fairly awesome hairdryer for fine, long, 3c curly hair! I bought the matching diffuser elsewhere. Doesn’t cause as much frizz as a regular hairdryer with diffuser. Definitely a step up. I tried my cousins Braun (this is a dupe of the Braun ($500). The Braun worked better but I can’t justify that amount of money so I got this. I’m happy with my purchase. Brought my hair game to the 21st century. If you can afford it and have frizz problems I recommend this with the matching diffuser. My question is there a lawsuit between Braun and Shark because this dryer is too similar to the patented Braun. Seems this dryer has been discontinued and a new and different looking Shark dry has taken its place.

Shark versus Dyson Blowdryer

I wanted to try this new Shark ION blow dryer. This purchase was to see if I would see the results using Sharks ion technology.I had high hopes for using the Shark. Based on the wonderful vacuums I have used and own.Unfortunately, I was not impressed. Both are expensive for a blow dryer. The Shark HyperAir has absolutely made a believer out of me. I’ve scoffed at the idea of expensive hair dryers in the past but I can actually do a quick dry (no styling) in roughly 5 minutes. That’s right, 5 minutes! I have a thicker texture hair that is mid-back length and a good thickness overall in the amount of hair too, slight wave but not much. This feature is nice because it lessens the number of hair tools to have laying around.The hair dryer isn’t loud at all, but it does make a higher pitch noise that takes some time to get used to.A downfall is that with the fan setting on three (high), it feels as if I am putting my hair into a vortex. The fan speed is SO HIGH. Which would be amazing- if it didn’t cause my hair to knot up. The first time I had used the shark blow dryer- I wasn’t using a brush at first, and it formed a knot so bad that I spent several minutes brushing it out and had to put in an excessive amount of detangler onto the knot. I truly did not think that I was getting the knot out - that is how bad it was !!! Since then I have only used it on two (medium) fan setting and I always use a brush and dry directly where I am brushing. Using this method definitely helps a lot in terms of knotting.
