Having a large dog and three cats I have had my fair share of vacuums and have become a bit of a vacuum snob. This Shark PowerDetect is the strongest handheld vacuums that I have ever used and one of the best vacuums overall I’ve ever used. It was easy to assemble out of the box and comes with the typical accessories. Once charged I turned it on and got to work on our neglected basement floor. The Shark Power Detect cordless vacuum is our new favorite vacuum! I love that it's cordless and has different settings depending if you want to conserve the battery or increase the power. It automatically adjusts for high traffic areas, flooring type so you can easily transition from carpet to tile. The vacuum automatically increases the power when you are near walls/edges. It has a light that helps you to see which is great. It's easy to charge and easy to empty the filter. Absolutely love this and it's easy for both kids and adults to use. With it being cordless it's safer and you can vacuum multiple rooms faster.

I was super excited to try the Shark Cordless POWERDETECT vacuum. The design is well thought out. The modes are intuitive and the mutli-purpose brush attachments are ingenious. The flex storage feature allows the vacuum to be stored in a stable upright manner. The vacuum cleaned fairly well on both carpet and hard surfaces. It doesn’t have as much cleaning power as a plug-in vacuum, but it had enough to pick up the visible debris on my floor. I was impressed with the battery life: it was sufficient to vacuum and dust a bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and stairs on a single charge. The detect mode Is a great feature and extends the battery life while still cleaning well. It seemed as if the brush rolls were resisting the direction I wanted to move the vacuum. This may be a design flaw related to the forward and reverse debris pick up.After vacuuming, I detached the wand to try the handheld vacuum mode. I found myself easily swapping out the brush attachments depending on my needs. And I enjoyed the freedom of not having a power cord to drag along with me. However, after a short while my arm became tired from the weight of the hand vacuum. I suspect the large battery is to blame. I did find the dust cup hard to empty. I would’ve preferred the dust cup to release completely from the vacuum so I could carry it over to the trashcan or rinse it out. The front lights on the floor nozzle were super bright and helpful. However, I found the rear lights distracting as they turned on and off and switched from purple to white while vacuuming.Overall, I give this vacuum 3 out of 5 stars. It cleans well for a cordless vacuum and is super versatile. However, it was difficult to move across the carpet and too heavy to use as a handheld vacuum.

I love that this vacuum has a lot of suction, as much as a corded one, I am not losing suction even as the battery is running down until it’s extremely low. It says up to 70 minutes, depending on the setting it’s definitely possible, I prefer the regular setting even though I didn’t notice any suction loss in the Eco setting. I haven’t had to boost the suction often but it’s a great feature to have. My favorite part, I can get underneath my beds and get all the dust bunnies I have missed, with a generous sized dust cup I can clean more before emptying the canister out. This is more than a stick vacuum, it’s a hand vac as well that allows me to get in corners and along baseboards but also in my baseboard heater fins. This is an honest review for the product that I received for free).It's pretty powerful, it automatically changes suction power between 2 options, and can stall itself when not moving. I'm not a fan of the automatic suction change, I wish it was manual (not sure if it is, it doesn't seem to be touch screen, my corded vacuum allows adjustment)- sometimes it suctions too hard on my carpet which makes it difficult to move around.It has a light to see where you are vacuuming in dark areas.Capacity seems pretty standard. I'm a big fan of Shark vacuums to start with! They usually last + perform well, and also tend to have great suction, while being easy to maneuver + are an all around great quality vacuum! The Shark Powerdetect cordless vacuum (Model IP3000/IP1000) is so quiet! It is lightweight, has a hepa filter, it's easy to dump out, plus it has a pretty big dirt canister and I love the led lights on the vacuum head, as they make it so easy to see debris when vacuuming! I'm hopeful this cordless Shark vacuun will last me a long time, while continuing to suck up all the dirt, dust & debris off my laminate hardwood floors + high traffic carpet in my apartment!! [Rewarded Review] Smart Powerful Vacuum!

I received this product to review. This is my first cordless vacuum and I couldn’t be more impressed! I was so surprised at the amount of dirt and dust was picked up after a quick pass.The sensing technology that auto adjusts the suction power seems accurate and quick to adjust.I also like that you can use “eco mode” for a more general clean.The attachments are great bonuses that help clean upholstery and baseboards.It does take a while to charge the vacuum, but I have gotten in the habit of recharging after each time using and have had no problems.Overall, this is an impressive vacuum on both the power and technology fronts! Love this Shark!

This Shark PowerDetect cordless stick is the best stick vacuum I’ve used! It auto dry the floors if but you can also change the modes to eco or boost depending on what you want! If you do use the boost mode the battery will n it last as long. I was able to maneuver it under my bed with ease and easily avoid cords with its multiflex stick! I love the light on it for dark areas. My bedroom flooring is dark and I was able to see so much hair and dust that I’ve missed! Yuck!!! It is so versatile (and CORDLESS) that I will be using it on the cars and furniture too! I highly recommend this vacuum!
