This helmet looks lovely! It’s very snug and comfy except around the front of the cheeks which can annoy on long rides. The lights are so cool and easy to operate, I feel more visible in fog and at night. The visor and pin lock is brilliant with no fogging at all. The sun visor is great but does fog up at low speeds. There is a whistling noise at anything over 30mph but most of the time I zone it out. It’s very light and aerodynamic and doesn’t throw my head around in the wind. Altogether a great helmet; would love it more if it was quieter though.

Decent helmet good vision comfortable fit for a very cheap price. This is my second one, the first I paid £159.00 for at the dealership where I bought my bike.Very happy person! Bargain! At just over £100.

This is my second purchase as this helmet I bought for my wife. I was very satisfied when I bought it for myself for the first time. I like the ventilation and sunglases - it all works really well together. I highly recommend this one!Speaking about cons, I really have nothing to say - it does it`s job very well!

Good helmet, misleading picture..

My Third Shark , and I was pleased with the Quality and detail of the other two ... A Shark 3 series, and a Shark One, ( much improved over the 3) . The Skwal Fit, construction and details show it to be a worthwhile lid. It is quiet, comfortable and draft free. The micro buckle is something I have come to prefer over a D ring, the breath guard and chin skirt are solid-better than I have encountered in other brands. The venting is effective spoiler and design contributing to airflow and the shield and gasket are particularly good. I bought it , Partly for the light , and the style. And about that - The light is NOT green , it is a white Led, and not terribly bright , it has a steady on and flash mode. The finish, apparently matte, is not a coating or paint, it is ...Ā MoreMy Third Shark , and I was pleased with the Quality and detail of the other two ... Not deal breakers for me, but i think they could do better with what is otherwise a keeper..

Nice helmet

This is the second Shark helmet I’ve owned, love the style, colour and comfort and at 44% off it was a no brainer. It’s a bit loud, though but not intolerable. Had originally ordered a large (which I’ve been my whole adult life) but had to return it to get an XL. Not sure if they’re made smaller but had to exchange it and that was no hassle at all. Each time, I got the product in a day and a half, love that. There are also LED lights built into the helmet, a flashing setting for emergencies I assume and a just ā€˜ā€™on’’ position for visibility I guess. Overall super happy with the helmet, definitely recommend it and especially if it 40 plus percentage off. Not sure I’d pay $500 for it.

Nice lid for the price!

I just picked up a white sql 2 lid in XL and fits perfectly. I’m usually a large and I have a Shoei RF1200. Lid is more narrow on the sides. Exterior finish is acceptable and subtle as I don’t care for graphics much anyhow. Noise is present but equivalent to my Shoei. Really dig the narrow neck opening as that reduces more air rushing from underneath unlike the RF. Lights are a great feature and work well. The button is a bit cumbersome to activate barehanded but I would fire it up during my pre flight checks anyhow. Lid is slightly heavier than my RF judging by feel but didn’t scale them to confirm that statement. Interior padding is smoother to the touch but equivalent to thickness as the RF minus the check pads. Lifting the visor is a familiar ratchet style but the 1st position is a little larger than I like to increase airflow (2ā€). Chin cantilever vent out front is a novel idea but anemic for sure and I suspect I will have to wedge it open for summer Ops. Overall, it’s a great upgrade for $250 and nice to steer away from Japanese lids that I’ve been using for the past 20 years.

Top product at top price!

Excellent product - comfortable from the off. Great visibility and with Pinlock included great value at this price. Cost of replacement/dark visor is expensive though [although not essential with the excellent integral sun visor. Matt Black looks classy and totally suits my blacked out HD. Having the reflective stickers included is another great touch for the safety minded.

Very nice looking and elegant.. the sun visor goggles can easily put down without any effort.. the sound proofing is ok i guess (I didn’t took it out on the open road yet) and it’s extremely comfortable if you have to use it for a long rides

This helmet looked the best when I was shopping around for one that had a drop-down sun visor. I especially like how they integrated the mechanism into the visor design to be discrete. Way better than those big slider levers you see on other helmets. Also nice what's included in the box, which is a charge cable for the built in LED lights, the pinlock visor, a cloth bag, and few other bits and bobs. Really a bargain considering all the stuff you get that usually costs extra from other manufacturers. The couple flaws that made me send this back were:1. The sun visor mech needs a bit of work. Just stomping around the house and wearing this makes it slip down a bit from up above. Not a deal breaker, but it was annoying to see it wiggling around up in my peripheral ...Ā MoreThis helmet looked the best when I was shopping around for one that had a drop-down sun visor. The latch style chin strap. I have never had one before, only D-ring style, so I didn't realize the buckle would be so big. Either I have an abnormally large adams apple, or this latch is abnormally large because it was immediately stabbing my adams apple. There was no position I could put it in that wouldn't eventually work it's way back to jabbing me in the throat. If it only had a nice low profile D-ring strap, this helmet would have been golden.
