I really liked the Shark Wandavac. I liked the different attachments and also the 2 different power settings. The hand held vac made it so easy when vacuuming the mattress or under the lounge cushions without having to drag a barrel vac and hose behind you. I used the motorised tool on these places to get deep into these places and get rid of dust, etc. I especially liked using the soft brush attachment on eco power as it was great for dusting my books. It did a good job on the skirting boards too. I used the upholstery brush for the pets bed for a quick clean but know the motorised tool is there if needed for a lot of pet hair. I think this is a great little vacuum for those hard to get to places and quick small vac jobs. The only problem I had was changing the ... MoreI really liked the Shark Wandavac. They were a bit hard to get in and out of the main handheld vacuum though after a bit more use this might get easier.

Easy to use and plenty of power!

The Shark Wand handheld vac is very comfortable to hold and use. It is light yet powerful and the attachments mean you can clean up all your spill and mess issues quickly and easily. The charging/storage rack is convenient and doesn't take up much bench space. I'd recommend this unit to anyone that needs something smaller than a full size vacuum cleaner around the house, unit, car or work area.

Fantastic time saver

I get up every morning to birdseed all over the floor. I go to the laundry and get my shark upright vacuum cleaner, unravel the cord , move the bird cage and clean up the mess. Not any more. I walk to the cupboard, pick up the shark handheld add the attachment and its cleaned up in less than a minute. It saves so much time and makes school mornings so much easier. No longer will I be dragging my vacuum up the stairs to clean them. I just use the power head and it picks up all the dirt and hair out of the carpet. It's a bit louder than expected and it doesn't hold much before it needs emptying. I think the price is slightly higher than I expected but overall I think it is fantastic. I use it every day now . It's quick, convenient and a great time saver.

Great little handy vac!
17 September 2022

So far this hand vac is living up to expectations - in a good way. It is light-weight so everyone can use it, empties quickly and easily, and the different power levels mean every surface and mess can be cleaned. I love the assortment of attachments, and the handy dock looks chic and not like a dirty vacuum.

Great product

Great vacuum cleaner for tight places around the house, as well as computers, fans, etc. Well design and quality. The suction is good enough. The vacuum can also be used like a toy for those parents wanting their kids to help them doing chores.

Grew to love this little vac!

I didn't really know what to expect when I first started using the wandvac. As a family we are used to using the cordless stick vac on all the surfaces in our home and we've never owned anything like this before. At first I was a bit underwhelmed as it is hard to cover much ground with this product, and the dust collection chamber is a bit small and needs emptying quite often. But, when I decided to use it on the areas where the stick vac normally struggles, down the back of the couch, in between the car seats, inside the dogs beds etc, the product really comes into its own. It is very powerful for its size, light and easy to hold and portable with no need to plug in or deal with annoying wires. The range of attachments means you can get right into those hard to ... MoreI didn't really know what to expect when I first started using the wandvac. The range of attachments means you can get right into those hard to reach places. We have two small cars in our household and the battery lasts long enough to vacuum them both from top to bottom, no more dog hair on the seats, which was impressive. It's not a replacement for the stick vac, but it has found its place in our home and I am happy to recommend!

Thought this was a little ripper. So much power and fantastic for 5he caravan due to its compact size. Haven’t used for awhile, charged it, started it worked great. When I picked it up again 5 minutes later it won’t start. Sounds like it’s trying to run but can’t!

No more cat fur on the couch!
11 November 2021

Being a pet owner I'm pretty fastidious about dust and fur so the Shark wandvac is ideal for a quick scoot around without the hassle of a bigger, annoying vacuum cleaner. It's got great suction and the motorised upholstery /pet fur tool is fabulous. After one go on my couch it really grabbed the fur I didn't realise was there! The compact storage organiser is really great and charging is quick. I would have preferred a bigger dust canister as it requires emptying more often than my other non brand dustbuster. For upholstery it is excellent but it was a bit weak on suction using the longer attachment picking up the random odd cat litter pellets, so I'll probably only use it for the furniture, which it does beautifully if you don't mind cleaning the tools or dust ... MoreBeing a pet owner I'm pretty fastidious about dust and fur so the Shark wandvac is ideal for a quick scoot around without the hassle of a bigger, annoying vacuum cleaner. Power plus

Wow what a power house in a small package, I was incredibly surprised by the strength of the power head. I gave it a real workout by vacuuming our floor mats in the laundry, not only are the clean they look like new. I then trialled the attachment to get in between the leather seats on the couch. Wow, kind of embarrassing how many times I had to empty the machine. Even emptying is easy with a push of a button, just a word to the wise aim it carefully over the bin! I used the longer attachment for a couple of spills and dog hair on boards and carpet with good results. The only downside to me is the shortness of this attachment, back ache height I call it. My only other gripe was the handle, as an older person with hand arthritis I found it a little wide and the shiny ... MoreWow what a power house in a small package, I was incredibly surprised by the strength of the power head. The battery life is really good it outlasted every task I set it and the extra power boost button is a great feature.

The Little Things

Broad strokes first, I really enjoyed the wandvac, it did it's job really well and the price doesn't seem unreasonable for the quality. Presentation both in and out of the box is wonderful, I really appreciated that the packaging materials were all eco-conscious and the stand looks really slick without sacrificing usabillity. The suction was plenty on the standard setting for just about everything I tried it on other than removing cat hair off couches and pillows, which the turbo boost function takes care of no problem and was one of my favourite uses of this vacuum as a cat owner. The collection of heads covered all the bases though the stick head was a bit of an awkward size, too short to stand and use. I liked that the head disconnect had a button on either side ... MoreBroad strokes first, I really enjoyed the wandvac, it did it's job really well and the price doesn't seem unreasonable for the quality. I liked that the head disconnect had a button on either side so it works just as well for left-handed people. The only thing I felt this was missing was a slightly bigger tank, it is only for small cleanups but I found a lot of the time I would hit the 80% mark and have to empty to get the remaining 20%. (Fun fact: If you open the tank while it is facing upwards it will catapult the mess back out from the spring force)
