Read the measurements on the instruction sheet carefully. The opening measurement shown on the diagram is different from the actual size written in the dimension further down on the sheet. I gave the diagram plan to the Cabinet maker to make and height turned out to be too narrow to fit the trim kit. I hope to modify to fit.

The trim kit fitted well, looks good and was pretty easy to install.I bought the Sharp trim kit as it was the only one I could find that would fit into our existing built-in Microwave cabinet.The instructions were fairly straight forward to understand, although the pictures are not very clear.The trim kit matches the "Sharp R395EST Smart Inverter 1200W Microwave" that we also bought.There is space for ventilation on each side of the microwave.
I eventually found a Trim Kit and Microwave to exactly fit the inbuilt space in my kitchen - it looks great ! Thanks Winnings !
Cost as much as the oven itself. Ridiculous. Necessary to finish off the gap but a price that shocked us.
Good fit to microwave, looks smart, easy installation although instructions are a little hard to follow. Method of attachment is much improved over older ones I've installed.
Had this a week too, hasnt fallen off!
Came with templates for easy fitting, shame the new Sharp micro wave did not fit the previous model Trim Kit.
