I had a very old microwave. It had 2 knobs. One for temperature and one for time. To open the door, you pulled it firmly. But it died. The new one I bought is fine but it is a modern one with all of those complicating features very few people need nor will ever use. I have to press lots of buttons and some buttons more than once to heat food. Each push elicits the annoying and loud modern beep. No more using the microwave at night while others ate sleeping!To open the door, I have to push a large button with enough force to cause the microwave to slide over the counter. At the end of heating, it makes lots of beeps instead of the quiet, friendly single ding of my old one. And I may not leave the door of my microwave open because it keeps a light on inside. Needed to return the item as the middle pad didnt work. Because the wattage is so low, it took longer to cook therefore not being economical. Bought a 1000kw which was on sale.
Had this 15 months.. nothing but trouble from the start.. turntable often never worked.. display often misding digits.. power it on nothing, no display not working, would often stop mid cook Too small to fit standard plates
0 stars. Didnt even have it for a month and something inside the microwave blew up. The microwave was smoking too, had to return it and get the money back. Not safe.
Bought this in a hurry, as our 1200W Sharp packed up. It’s only 750W, so means having to estimate cooking times (most microwave meal cooking times being for at least a 1000W appliance). Supply chain problems have resulted in consumers having to ‘make do’. This microwave helped us in the interim before a more powerful appliance becomes available.
Easy to use product Definitely will be checking out the same brand when I need a replacement. Staff at the store are eccellent with customer service, even putting the appliance in my car on request
