I tried the markers out in my journal, doing some writing, as well as with a coloring book. The color selection is a bit limited (I would have loved an orange, pink, etc!) but the basic colors that do come in the pack are very bright and jump off any page.The fine tip is very useful for smaller items to color (e.g. flowers in a mandala) and I can see them being great for making signs, like name labels, page headers, etc. but they aren't really fine enough for typical handwriting. Directly out of the box the Sharpie Acrylic Creative Marker Assorted Brush Tip 5-Pack markers were each beautiful! Then I read the directions on the back of the package, and they were even better! A couple of shakes, and the markers went from a slightly milky look, to vibrant colors that POPPED! They write smoothly, they glide across surfaces with little friction, they leave behind the right amount of paint, and they keep their shape well.I tried these markers out on paper, glass, wood, and let my kids write on rocks with them. They even held up to the abuse of my not-so-gentle 7 year old flawlessly, and still write well after. Even after having one of my glass projects in the sun I see no signs of fading, or weathering at all. I have really enjoyed using these new Acrylic Creative Sharpie markers. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to try them! I really like the way that they write. They are extremely smooth to write with, I love that the tips can be used in various ways. You can do either fine lines or wider lines if you angle the marker. I really like how vibrant and bright the colors of the markers are. They have so much pigment! I really like that when you write with these markers you can go over one color with another and the colors do mix and become muddy. Each color really stands out! When coloring, the marker does not dry out which is fantastic. I also like that these markers don’t bleed through paper. I have mainly been using these markers while my kids are coloring and coloring my own pictures! My kids use their washable markers (because they will try to write on every surface) and I use these Sharpies so we can all do a fun activity together! Im left handed so my only complaint about the markers is that you need to let them dry a bit before moving on or you will have marker on your hand. I can’t wait to do more activities with these, especially with my kids. My next idea is to use them on hard boiled eggs to draw on them after they are dyed for Easter!
