One of the downsides of traditional sized sharpies is the chunky tip, too thick to write on most surfaces. I love writing with the ultra fine tip sharpie for my journaling and kitchen storage needs. While sharpie is legible, clear to understand, and stays put on most things, I don't recommended it on surfaces you frequent touch, like a ceramic lided spice jar... Eventually it smears off. However, in most cases, it's longevity and penmanship are worth pulling out an ultra fine tip sharpie for.

I always have Sharpies on hand. I have black, metallic, colors and even have different points. I use them for everything. I have personalized family objects to prevent theft or loss, or purely for identification purposes. I have used them for art, and even created many decorative elements with them. I’ve even used them to label Christmas gifts. As far as I’m concerned, everyone should have these in the household.

I love Sharpie markers. They work so well and last so much longer than the less expensive brands. They also are a nice rich black instead of the washed black you find on cheaper permanent markers. They dry quickly so you rarely get any smudging and they stay put for a long time. We use them to make signs and have found that they end up being less expensive in the long term than the cheaper versions. If you need a permanent marker spend the extra money up front. You will end up spending less in the long term. I highly recommend this product.

These markers are brilliant in design. The thickness is of perfect precision for any writing hand, be it the left or right hand. Even comfortable for those who use their feet. The cap is ahead of its time, the quick snap-on snap-off mechanism is beyond this world. Finally, the black ink is of pure bliss. Sharpie is a well known brand. Over the years they have come out with many different Sharpies. This is one of them for black permanent marker for thin lines. My one daughter draws a picture in pencil. She uses this marker to trace over the pencil lines to give her picture a black border. This marker doesn’t smear either.

am almost positive i have purchased every.single.sharpie thats ever been made. You know how children are with sharpies right?! If not doodling on the walls or other things your parents viewed important, you were doodling on yourself .or well, least i was..i can remember so many times hearing "that's permanent " or "you're gonna get ink poisoning " because i gave myself "tattoos " then there is where my obsession started. I only use this brand when using permanent pens, they are durable and keep for a LONG time if care is taken. The ink, an inky black, will remain for months as long as the cap is on tight. The permanent pen in fine black writes for a long time without losing color (several hours at least!). The slim shape of the writing instrument is comfortable to write with and the slim tip allows for a finer handwriting. The scent is not to noticeable, and when used as directed, hardly any ink scent is detected. My favorite permanent pen will easily win you over once you try it!
