So let me be that someone and tell you right now that this stuff legitimately cleared up my skin, as you can see from the picture. No more redness even! Unlike so many other products, this one actually lives up to the claims on its packaging. Just make sure to moisturize after because it can be a tad drying (I have dry skin anyway so don't be put off by that, it's nothing crazy) Buy it, you won't regret it

Great soap for flakey skin

This month I got to try the Shea Moisture African Black Bar Soap for free thanks to TopBox and SheaMoisture. Im new to the African black game, but I’m quite impress with this soap.One of the things I noticed about this soap was the size and the weight. It’s bigger than the usual soap, and I feel like this will last me a while. When opening it, it did have a strong scent, and it smelled different from the African black soap body wash. I wasn’t looking forward to it since I wasn’t used to the strong smell. But after a few days that strong scent does turn lighter, and the scent doesn’t really apply to my skin. I received this product free from topbox to try it out and give my honest review. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the wonderful scent. It smells so nice! It lathers really nicely and made my skin feel really clean and soft. I really like that it’s made using natural ingredients. The only thing I would maybe change is the size of the bar. I found it to be quite large and awkward at times to hold onto without dropping it. Overall I really liked it though. #freeproduct #trywithtopbox

MY holy grail

i will start off with saying that ive been using this for about 3 weeks and for each is their own!i was looking into facial soaps and was told to look into african soap. i was really excited to use this and let me tell you when i finished washig my face i felt so brand new. it left my skin feeling cleansed and refreshed. i wont lie it did leave my face feeling a tad bit dry but still soft . i hope these other people writing bad reviews bc it dried up their face, know to moisturize your face after washing. after moisturizing my face my skin felt extremely smooth and my pores definitely minimized. very pleased with this and highly recommend using a really nice moisturizer after washing your face with this soap!

Smells Fantastic!

Opened this soap and immediately went MMM! Before the package was even open all the way! It has a light exfoliater, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. It does not leave any residue on my skin, and I use it nightly. It'll last a long time. On that note, my ONLY complaint is that the bar is SO big that I feel like I can't hold it properly and rub it on my skin. Otherwise, I love this soap.
