I bought these two products at Walmart for approximately $20. The shampoo and conditioner are $9.97 each. I know what some of you may be thinking. That is expensive for both a shampoo and conditioner but let me tell you it is worth it! Products like Suave, TREsemmé, Pantene, Aussie, and other popular shampoo and conditioners are cheaper because they are the most damaging. They have sulfates and parabens which dries out your hair faster which leads to frizz and breakage. You can see why these products should be avoided for those with textured hair because are hair dries out faster than straight hair. Therefore, it is best to stay away from them altogether. Go to your local drugstore and or any other places that sell hair products like Sallys and Ulta Beauty and give the Coconut and Hibiscus Curl and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner from Shea Moisture a try because you will not regret it.

This shampoo is a game changer! I used it in combination with the matching conditioner and curl enhancing smoothie. I received this as a #freeproduct from Topbox Circle and to provide my honest opinion. I have used Shea Moisture products before and have always been a fan. This is perfect for curly hair because it provides great moisture for dryer hair while not weighing down your curls (I have a 3A curl). The scent is great while not being too overpowering and I find the scent does last throughout the day. I shampoo 3 times a week with co-wash other days. This shampoo lathers up really well and leaves my hair always feeling soft and my curls manageable. I received the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo for free from Topbox Circle in exchange for my honest review. First impressions, I found the shampoo to be a little runny in comparison to what I am used to, but once it lathered up, it had a good thick consistency that I could easily work through my hair. It had a nice coconut scent, which I enjoyed. My hair didn't feel particularly soft after rinsing the shampoo, but that was rectified after using the cordinating conditioner. Having a sensitive odorant, the product as such already has a strong smell, but even washed the smell remains quite strong. My hair has never been so bouncy!

I haven't used a shampoo that has been specifically aimed at curly hair before which on reflection I definitely should have been using before now as I have now found out having used SheaMoiature Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo and the results I have achieved! The consistency of the shampoo is fantastic and smells so fresh and divine. It lathers up really nicely and makes your hair feel really clean once massaged in and rinsed out. Tried the Shea moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Shampoo for curly hair for my hair and for my daughter who has thicker curls. We tried this over two weeks as I like to be sure before writing my reviews about a product. I found the shampoo to be runny and due to the thin consistency it takes a lot more to form lather.
