I started running this in my BA XR6 just over a year ago. The first thing I noticed going from a mineral oil to a full Synthetic was how much cooler the engine ran.It went from running just under half temp on the gauge to not much over quarter on the gauge, about were the thremostat must open. With previous oils they still looked clean when the time come to change them. This oil was very dirty which shows its great cleaning properties. Very happy!
Fantastic cleans the motor from the build up inside from the years of service then after 2 oil changes noticed the oil staying cleaner for longer, highly recommend it
I usually purchase this type of Synthetic oil in bulk when its at a greatly reduced cost and because it meets the recommended oil specifications for my Audi. I have found over the years and my experiences of all the leading Brands that it doesn't matter who's brand of oil is available as long as it falls under the correct classification in my situation e.g, VW 502.00 ACEA, A3 etc and its cheap, then it will be compatible. There is way too much marketing spin and woefully inflated pricing for Synthetic motor oils. If you have doubts then do what I did & talk to Society of Automotive Engineers and other oil experts you will soon discover the hype surrounding the oil market. Great oil. Have been using Edge 5W30 in a Honda K24 for the past 5 year and HX8 5W30 is far superior. Engine is quieter and better fuel economy. Also click & collect is to easy. Thanks SCA
Can’t buy in 1L bottlepain considering my wife’s car only takes3 L
i bought this oil for my BMW.i used castrol 5w30 a3b4 before.this one are way better than that.the engine runs more smooth and sounds better.that's why bmw change the engine oil supplier from castrol to shell.
