At first, I was reluctant to purchase it as I thought that it would not be as good as the most expensive 0W 40 brand that I was using before. After comparing the specifications and physical characteristics of the group IV oils, I found that there was no much difference.I am so glad I switched. My Peugeot 307 loves it and it doesn't affect the catalytic converter. The car seems to be running a lot smoother and quieter. The manufacturer recommends oil interval at 20,000 kms but I changed mine at 10,000 kms. This oil is great and at a great value. Would recommend to anyone who loves their car!

I have used this oil in both our cars for quite a few years now and stock up from Supercheap Auto each time it is on special. I have never experienced any problems with it or Supercheap and will continue to use it and buy it from Supercheap Auto.

If it is suitable for your car it is a fantastic oil to use. Has superb cleaning abilities, will clean up a sludgy motor safely. Has lots of certifications making it a well rounded oil.

One of the best oils available and the one my car seems to prefer (BA GT). Quieter start up and running, cleaner engine internals and slightly better fuel economy, well worth the price and an absolute score when on sale.
Great oil does what it says in keeping the engine to like factory clean. With just 1000km into driving the oil was getting dark and at 2000km in it was really dark telling you it’s cleaning all the engine internals. My car loves it and feels really smooth and responsive plus slightly decreases oil consumption on my car. Please note this might not be the case for you my car has 165 000km on it and does suffer from oil consumption and blow by.
I've been through a lot of oils from different brands.Castrol EdgeNulon Apex+Penrite oilsGulf western oilsMobil super 3000And Valvoline oilsNow all of these oils were good, however Shell Helix Ultra has been the best so far for my vehicle, there's a noticeable difference in overall performance of the engine itself, it's smoother, quieter and the timing chain rattle has quietened considerably.All the other oils had similar changes when put in fresh, but after a few days they would wear in and go back to how it was before. Shell helix seems to have held up and continues to provide a smoother engine.In conclusion I would certainly recommend Shell Helix Ultra for high km vehicles.
This oil is as good as any of its high end and specialty competition. In the USA they love Pennzoil Ultra. This product is virtually identical with its pure natural gas oil composition. Look at the OEM that use this oil. It's very well priced now as well, let's hope it stays like that.
This oil is used in my MINI Cooper S, recommended by my local mechanic a European car specialist, the review on this oil on line is excellent and used by leading European manufacturers.
I bought this Shell helix ultra for my worked 6 Ltr ssv & so far found it excellent very smooth quieter valve train & feels a little more responsive down low all good so far Great quality oil
Decided to try out the Shell range for my Audi V8 and so far it has been good. Wanted something more premium than Castrol but not as costly as Liqui Moly.
