Some 12 months ago after several years use and the beginnings of evident wear I wished to replace my Sheridan 1000's sheet sets and thought to try linen sets of another brand of which I purchased 2 sheet sets. My linen sheet sets did not live up to my expectations with the sheets having a "thin"feel about them and not delivering the comfort which I had expected so I was very happy to return tothe 1000's Sheridan sheet set which I bought recently and find them so much more comfortable thanmy linen ones and that they have helped give me a better sleep each night. I may have had a happier experience if I had bought Sheridan linen but I don't recall that it was being promoted at the time of my then purchase.

These are beautiful sheets to sleep on. The high quality thread and weave is crisp without compromising on comfort the smooth fabric offers. The size of the fitted and flat sheets are generous as are the pillow slips. The fitted sheet has a thicker elastic than other brands of sheets I've bought and can accomodate varied mattress depths. The elastic gives easily enough for ease of making the bed up with no strenuous battle to get the last sheet corner over the mattress and yet the fitted sheet fits securely with snug coverage. I like to iron my pillow slips and top sheet but find that this is not necessary as creases fall out very readily. They launder well with no shrinkage of the trimming features. I was disappointed in this. I googled "black" and was given this as an option. I could not find any mention of the fact the sheets were a very dark navy on the description. I will need to take them back as they don't suit my doona cover. Having said that they look exceptional quality and I am sure they would feel fabulous.

I’m very happy with the Sheridan 1000 thread cotton sheets set. The midnight blue colour is grate for my bedroom which I never thought of. The quality is perfect, feels silky but easy care than silk.I never going back to the thread less than 1000. I am looking forward to buying another one which I am enjoy thinking about colour. Thank you Sheridan for good products.
Disappointing. Bought to replace high thread count Sheridan pillow cases bought 10+ years ago. Not as smooth as old ones. But the real disappointment is that the envelope closure is too short relative to old cases. The pillow case barely closes over the pillow and it is no longer possible to sleep on the closure side as it pulls open. Given the high cost of these items, it is pretty disappointing. I bought Sheridan as I trusted the brand and I had good experience over the previous decade. I am hoping that otherwise, they will perform as well as the last set.
Utterly gorgeous. Haven’t slept so well in months. Originally bought a set and a separated fitted sheet, as the fitted sheets from previous Vera Wang sheet sets both ripped the same week, but the rest of the set was still lovely with lots of life left (after 5 years). After getting into bed the first night with this set, I instantly decided to return the individual fitted sheet and get another full set - so luxurious and silky. I’m obsessed.
Sheridan 1000 thread count pillow cases are just the best to sleep on. They feel so luxurious on your skin ! The fabric washes really well, you can wash in hot or cold water and you do not need fabric softener (I never use it). And if you wish to iron them, they also iron easily. I have found the pillowcases last a long time (this is not my first pair) and they just get softer and more comfortable with age. I think they are excellent value for the money and once you have slept on 1000 thread count sheets and pillowcases, you’ll think any lower thread count is too thin and not worth your money - you’ll never buy anything else.
People at Planet Linen were very helpful. However the sheets supposedly bought on sale as firsts and not marked seconds were definitely seconds.The pattern stithing on the head of the flat sheet and pillowcases was not correct as it was being pulled and varied across the whole top of the sheet and pillowcases. I bought 2 sets and 1 pillowcase set was correct and sheet not and vice versa in the other set.I would never buy products like this online again.Obviously seconds being sold as a sale item. Sheridan should not be providing to Planet Linen to be sold.
