I bought this discounted at a good price. Was looking around and this was on the more affordable end of the spectrum. Blanket is nice but when I washed it before use a lot of bits of cotton came out of the fabric and I had to leave it outside for a few days. Still made a bit of a mess inside.

This is perfect as a light summer cover. I often find doonas and woollen blankets are too hot and the cotton waffle blanket is just the right weight for a comfortable nights sleep. The quality of the material is very good too.

Love this gorgeous blanket for its beauty and durability... the substantial hems all round give it weight and comfort. My little Papillon Pup allows me to sleep on 'her' bed and there have been no pulls in the weave caused by her claws. Highly recommend it.

Best purchased ever. Bought this waffle blanket because of my parents in law recommendation. Best for summer blanket and in winter gives extra warmth if you put it under the doona. Got it for good price at Myer. It's very soft and easy to wash. Very happy customer. Will purchase this blanket for the rest of my life☺️ 10/10 would recommend it!
Perfect for warmer weather due to its open weave. Only slight criticism is the weave tends to catch on things (e.g. small hooks, zippers) if you're not careful. I tried to pull it back into shape but I predict this may end up with little pulls in future.
I bought this based on all the good reviews but i'm not 100% happy with it. After the first wash it shed excessively all over the place and is still shedding (can't fabrics be pre-washed?). Also, i bought the "single/double" size for a king single bed however it hangs to the floor on both sides. The texture isn't that great for an under the doona blanket. It possibly works well as an overlay blanket as it looks nice and fresh.
Has stood the test of time.I bought this as a replacement for an identical blanket which is well over ten years old. It is a permanent cover on our bed, looks great, is the perfect weight winter & summer, and is machine washed regularly then line dried very easily.
Honestly I had high expectations and hope for this as I’ve been eying it out for a while. Finally with the Black Friday day we made the purchase. As always you should wash before use however I didn’t think to dust it prior. This meant after washing and putting on the bed there was fluff EVERYWHERE we dusted and re washed but still .. fluff everywhere. We’ve washed it about 3 times and finally the fluff has stopped however for the quality you would expect with Sheridan as well as the price I would expect a better experience overall. Now that the excessive fluff has subsided the blanket is, fine - still not what I expect though
This is marketed as a king/queen size. It is a King. So it is too big for a queen. It bunches up and is annoying and hotter than if it was the correct size. It also catches and pulls so easily. It constantly catches on my wedding ring, and I don't have a problem with it catching on other things. I think it's because the weave is loose.
Beautifully soft and light blanket - perfect for summer. Very generous in sizing. Unfortunately it catches very easily on the smallest sharp or angled objects including rings. This means threads pull easily on the blanket, making it more delicate than I thought.
