Out of the box the dooner was already clipped together and had been severely crushed to fit into its bag. So you need to give it a really good shaking to fluff it up. I would suggest separating the two sides to do this properly. On the bed it feels reasonably warm, with both clipped together, though not as warm as expected. We live in Coffs Harbour so it is adequate for our climate but not sure how it would perform in Melbourne or the alps. The plastic press studs seem to work well and hopefully will stand the test of time. One annoying thing is that they haven't labelled the individual pieces with their filling materials or even any indication of which is the warmer of the two. This quite is light and so warm, and now moving into spring and summer having the ability to separate the quilt which means that I have the flexibility to adapt this to the desired warmth / coolness I need.

The doona is warm enough and it will be good to change the warmth as we head into warmer weather. But it is no where near as soft or luxurious as I would have expected, and the material make a swishing sound when it is moved.
Really warm duvet that can double as a summer duvet. It's so warm that i haven't needed to turn on the heater at all.
Great idea to be able to make three quilts out of one. Weather conditions have been variable so we have been able to try all three. Nice and cosy in all variations. Easy to change as weather conditions vary. As filling is contained in “pockets”, the filling doesn’t move to the bottom of the quilt. Couldn’t be happier.
It’s not great value for money. The double quilt makes it annoying to keep in the cover. It’s actually too warm for where I live. I haven’t split them apart yet but that could potentionally be a game changer. Still, a lot of money for something that’s not close to perfect.
This is a very comfortable quilt, it is heavy enough for my liking and very soft and warm. I have not tried to take them apart yet but I think it will come in handy in the warmer weather.
I love this doona. It is warm and a decent weight, not too heavy or too light. The two clipping together gives it a great versatility with warmth for autumn and winter.11/10 would highly recommend.
The quilts are lightweight, but very warm - especially when the two are clipped together. I'm pretty confident I won't need an additional blanket in winter (and this was my main reason to purchase the product)
