Out of the box the dooner was already clipped together and had been severely crushed to fit into its bag. So you need to give it a really good shaking to fluff it up. I would suggest separating the two sides to do this properly. On the bed it feels reasonably warm, with both clipped together, though not as warm as expected. We live in Coffs Harbour so it is adequate for our climate but not sure how it would perform in Melbourne or the alps. The plastic press studs seem to work well and hopefully will stand the test of time. One annoying thing is that they haven't labelled the individual pieces with their filling materials or even any indication of which is the warmer of the two. This quilt is pure bliss. Fluffy like a hotel quilt, large enough to cover a king mattress and just the right temperature for warm Perth climates. It very breathable as we keep it on the bed all seasons. Just buy it, you won’t regret it!

Purchased for Motorhome. First use, nice and warm. Didn't realise there are multiple versions of this quilt with different levels of warmth but hopefully still good in cold weather. Fabric finish is very nice.
We bought this quilt about four years ago, at the beginning it is a really good quilt. After a year used ( we did not wash it, jut put it under the Suns), the feather keep coming out from the quilt. We brought it back to the store and the sales changed a new one for us. The feather still coming out, but we just kept it and see how it is going. Up to now, the quit is not warm as before and still a lot of feather coming out. We decided to buy another quilt to replace that one. And we went to the store have a look at the quite and asked a few questions about the new quilt and the old quilt. It really surprised me the the sales told me it is normal for the feather come out really a lot. If anyone want to replace their quilt for a few years use, just go for it.
This feather & down quilt is beautiful and warm, perfect weight, not only for winter. It is versatile for various seasons. I feel very lucky to own a doona of such amazing quality.
Bought a new mattress with integrated goose-down topper and were told we would be warm. This doona is the perfect compliment to it, lightweight and very warm, without being too hot. We don't use heating at night and never wake up cold.The box construction keeps the feathers & down evenly spread. Only downside is it can't be washed in the machine, unlike some other brands.
Superior warmth and comfort! I can’t go past a good quality down quilt for the cooler months, and this one is ultra snuggly. Great quality as usual from Sheridan, this will surely last many winters.
Purchased this quilt when it was on sale for my 4 year old daughter as my husband and I have the same quilt on our bed and it’s nice and light and super cosy and warm, especially in winter. It’s too hot for a hot summers night but suitable for the rest of the year. My daughters last quilt was also 50/50 goose down and feather but had barely any feathers throughout the quilt so was only suitable for summer. This quilt has a lot more filling so worth the extra money.
