Used the rod for two days fishing and the reel mount broke cause the reel to spin around the rod. Obviously the rod was now useless. I’ve never seen this happen to any rod ever before?
Great rod, lightweight and strong. I can fish with this rod all day long.
Bought this to pair with a Shimano Torium as a jigging set up. Great rod hasn't let me down and for the price I’m not worried about it getting beat up.
Great little boat rod. Highly recommend. Didn’t give it 5 stars as it would be better in a longer length
Matched with small Talica 12 two speed reel, 60 LB braid. Rod ‘creaks’ noticeably when loading and flexes well into the rod butt grip area (quite disconcerting when not used to it). Looking forward to first hookup on a significant fish to test performance and durability…!?
Good light weight rod for jigging, matched with a light overhead reel has been great to use for hours without arm pump!
Excellent rod able to throw large surface lures and poppers. I have this matched to Saragossa 10000 with 80lb braid and 100lb leader. Excellent for mackerel and GTs
