The Deore M6100 fully bled hydraulic disc brake features a post-style calliper that can be easily adapted to suit your bike. The front fully bled lever and calliper come without adapters or rotors, giving you the freedom to customize to your preference. This brake can be used with the Center Lock rotor system, which fits easily to Center Lock compatible hubs, or conventional 6-bolt rotors in 160 mm, 180 mm, and 203 mm sizes. The opposed 2-piston design reduces leading effect and optimizes pad wear for increased braking control. The two-piece calliper design is both rigid and durable, with a hinged clamp design for easy installation. The ergonomic alloy brake lever provides optimum comfort and performance. The brake fluid used is mineral oil, which is non-corrosive and less hazardous than conventional hydraulic brake fluid. The Shimano Br-M6100/Bl-M6100 Deore brake lever features a Shim-less mounting system for quick installation and setting up, and is I-spec-EV compatible. The brake lever also features reach adjustment for a perfect custom fit. The kit includes resin pads, which can be used with sintered and Ice Tech pads, as well as spare olives.
