This rod is rubbish, the handles foam grips straight away slipped off, because the whole reel seat is held together by glue, the blank however is pretty indestructible. For 80 bucks you get what you get but I would never recommend this rod to anyone that is a keen angler.

Honestly these rods are quite impressive, i use the 5-10kg rod set with a Nasci 5000. Ive hooked up with decent size sharks with this rod an it held up and handled better than expected. For somthing very strong at this price point you cant really go wrong.
i have a 1000 reel on it with 6lb braid and 6lb FC leader but a 2000 would be ok also, nice for whiting bream etc.
This rod performed perfectly. She caught me two good squid its stiff and very light, you can carry all day and night. Thecrisp casting distance is amazing and would reccomend to keen squid anglers. Check out these catchs.
I’m glad I got the rod free as part of a promotion, like it’s okay but for a graphite rod it feels a bit clunky and heavy, but it’ll do for fishing from a kayak and on the beach. It retails for $89, so if you just want to get on the water, I suppose it’ll be fine for most fishos.
Good rod heaps of backbone. fair price. Used for larger hardbodies or spinning for tuna
i have the 4-8kg 7ft with a daiwa 4000 tierra and holds up really well with big fish even small sharks
I bought this rod and I wish I didn't because the tip broke off whistle casting a 10g how ever this rod caught me 5 flatty in one day but the same day I cast that lure it broke if you want to by this it would be absolutely perfect for sand whiting
