They are comfortable and easy to put on. I don't like that the heel is super floppy--i already know I'll have trouble down the road with the heel getting folded down permanently from being repeatedly stepped on whenever they're put on. They are also a really nice color and feel stable while I'm on my stationary bike. However, I don't care for the fact that the hardware didn't come with the shoes--you KNOW people will need the hardware that goes with them, you can't just jump on a bike with them right out of the box--why do you cheap out on providing that for your customers?

I haven't tested wide and this regular 42 fits me perfectly... Without wearing socks. It might be a bit snug with socks but these shoes tend to expand with use.This is my fourth pair of Shimano shoes. I think you can trust their sizing for Asian feet.

Purchased these for our Peloton. You have to purchase the look delta cleats which can be had for about 15. These shoes come up small. Normally am a size 40 and purchased 40,41 and ended up going to 42s. Great quality and comfy.
My feet started going numb on a shorter 20 mile ride, but I have fairly wide feet and have been wearing only "natural" shaped shoes for a few years now, so I think because of that these don't work for me. But if someone has narrow feet or is used to traditional shaped shoes, these are definitely worth a shot. The construction seems good, they're pretty, and they have a little heel texture which I found really useful when unclipped from my pedals but still moving. The Bontragers I tried before these did not have that feature and my foot slipped off unexpectedly every time I stopped. If you do have wider feet and can afford the price jump, try the RC5s! My feet felt good after a 35 mile ride so I plan on keeping them instead.
As in the comments before me, this shoe requires two size up to fit. But then it fits PERFECTLY. Such a comfortable ride it provides, the straps are locking the foot well.My size is 39, 41 with this shoe.I recommend it!
I bought these shoes for my spinning classe and they are really perfect for this activity. They are very comfy and a perfect fit for my feet. I normally wear a 37 but I had to buy a 38 for these as the 37 was slightly short. Apart from being comfy they are also very nice and different from other models seen around. Definitely recommended!
I wore my (too tight) cycling shoes for over 3 years. I finally decided I had to get new shoes. I’m am extremely happy with my Shimano RC1 shoes. I purchased my normal size and they feel great. They definitely fit me better and provide more room in the toe box. I personally feel they run true to size. Great value for the money.
