Bought this over the Xmas holidays and couldn’t be happier. Fantastic for flicking plastics. Second guide from the bottom bent when pulling a 74cm flatty. Otherwise would have been five stars. Bent back into place and continues to be used weekly.

Snapped on the first dirty carp caught. It gave a flick near the bank, a foot down from top...... snapped clean

It was broken when delivery arrived. We exchanged it and within two hours of using it - the top snapped off. Will never buy Shimano again.

Great bit of gear! Smooth casting, good quality for the price. Thinking of getting a 2500 too. The kiwi bloke (Bas I think it was) was a great help and very knowledgeable. Will be back
