i bought this about 2 months ago and i absolutely love it. i’ve used it to jig for squid and have caught countless snapper, salmon and other fish. i’m about to purchase althe same combo again so i can have one for jigging for squid and one for fish

Snapped during my first fish with it. While reeling in a small bream it snapped. Unsure whether this was a fault with this specific rod or a quality issue but either way you expect a little better for the $100.

This Is My First Launch into Lure Fishing. The team at BCF were very helpful and Knowledgeable. The even spooled up the braid for me. I returned to the store a week later, recived advice on what soft plastics to use. My third cast and retrieve Bingo a nice flathead. Thanks BCF.
Literally cast the rod out, had a couple of bites and a fish jumped on. While reeling back in with the fish the top snapped off completely. Waste of money.
Would’ve been good. When I took it out of my van the tip had already snapped off. It wasn’t anywhere in the van so I might have purchased it faulty from the store. Haven’t had time to get back to the store for a refund.
Take it out every week for inshore salt water fishing, ideal reel size for those medium sized fish (caught some 60-70cm king fish with it, good fights). use braid with it.
I bought this rod a few months ago and have only caught redfin but the first time a decent fish on (about a kilo) the rod snapped. I am disappointed because I was lead to believe it could handle decent fish. Will not be buying again.
Bought this combo for my son at Christmas and second time he used it the tip of the rod snapped off. Took it back and BCF exchanged it for a replacement combo. It was only a couple of weeks later and the same thing happened, tip snapped off in the same location. Im assuming it was a design fault. This time BCF Belrose wouldnt exchange it and made accusations that we werent using the rod properly. I had to buy a new different combo and only received a small discount off of an already discounted rod. I have had much better service in Anaconda since.
