Shimano Taipan rods, I purchased both the 2-4kg and 3-5kg rods put 2500 reels on them, fishing with bait with the kids yesterday and bought home two bream and a flathead..
Nice looking rod.Backbone was good ,casts light baits well .Mates well with a shimano baitrunner with 20lb mono.Got me a couple small snapper its first time on on the water.
Bought this last weekend and already running strong. Record using a 8000 or higher reel, like a Shimano Socorro. Only downside is cast range.
