The WH-R8170 TL carbon clincher disc brake wheel is designed to meet pro road race criteria. It features a lightweight, tubeless full carbon 50 mm deep rim for improved aerodynamics and increased rigidity, making it an excellent all-conditions wheel. The Center Lock rotor mount makes it easy to use with disc brakes. The stainless steel butted and bladed straight pull spokes provide optimal balance and rigidity, while the elbow-less spokes make for a strong yet compliant wheel. The wide flange spacing produces high lateral rigidity. The labyrinth double-contact sealing effectively shuts out water and dirt. The alloy cone with integrated steel Borozon treated bearing races features a super mirror finish to reduce friction. The cold forged, machined aluminium hub shell and oversized 7075 alloy axle keep the wheel weight to a minimum. It is compatible with 100 x 12 mm axles and 700C clincher tires.
