It seems to be well built. I have already put a tyre and cassette on it. Runs true and smoothly. I would definitely recommend this wheel. Definitely value for money.

I bought this wheel as a short term stopgap to cover a winter wheel rebuild. The RS100 turned up very promptly and well packed...and was perfectly true out of the box. The scales of truth showed ~1.1kg, so only ~100g above the current wheel which cost over 5 times more.I have now given the wheel a good thrashing inc. very some undulating parcours (rides like 70 miles with 7,000 ft of climbing, or a flat 50 thrash) on some mucky/bumpy roads and the wheel took everything in all conditions with ease. It felt fine for climbing (no flex but I am only 10st), and given the time of year, no real drag when speeding along. Braking was very steady when combined with good brakes/blocks.So, less that £60 for a wheel, shockingly good...so it would be churlish to make any ... MoreI bought this wheel as a short term stopgap to cover a winter wheel rebuild. However, that is what I have my handbuilts for. This wheel has admirably done its job and will now go back in the box to cover the next time I need it, and I will have no hesitation about fitting it and getting out for a spin.

It's a great wheel on a bike you wanna use every day. I put my 9s Sora on it and with the spacer, it fits perfectly (the spacer comes with the wheel). It runs very smoothly and it's the hub body isn't too quiet or too loud. I already have front wheel as well so they go very well together. Overall, no issues.

Good budget wheel
25 August 2021

Bought to replace rear wheel on child's Islabike. Good value and reasonable weight, need to be careful to put the right combination of spacers on when installing the cassette. Usual quick delivery from Sigma.

Great value
28 January 2023

My old wheel needed new bearings and possibly new axle. Found this wheel on Sigma Sports at a great price (in their Black Friday sale) which was actually about the same as I’d been quoted for the repair so no brainier.Great service from Sigma as usual.

Great value wheel
6 March 2023

Bought this as a replacement wheel which I predominantly use on my Kickr Snap trainer. The wheel is well made (weight isn't an issue for virtual riding), was easy to fit (comes with a spacer for 10 speed cassette) and runs beautifully.

High quality rear wheel
3 February 2023

For my commuting and touring needs, this wheel is proving very satisfactory. It is solidly built and feels good on the bike. The smooth bearings are of the cup and cone type, and therefore, for me, straight-forward to maintain. I am happy with this high quality product.

Replacement Training Wheel Solution
15 July 2021

Ok, it's only to replace a training wheel but let's face it, without it I can't go on my turbo! I wanted a functional 700c wheel and that's what I got. Sigma is a great shop, offers personal service and help. The website was easy peasy, too.

Superb value
23 November 2018

I wanted 10/11 speed rear wheel this for my spare bike so didn't want to spend too much. Funny thing is my new bike came with RS010s so I knew they were decent despite being entry level. It has revitalized my spare bike so I take it out a good bit now when weather is rough in winter. I've never bought a bad Shimano product down the years.Good value in that respect. Reasonably light. The fast dispatch by Sigma was appreciated.

Very happy with this wheel
10 April 2022

I use this wheel(set) on my commuting bike which carries a pannier, and goes over plenty of rough and corrugated surfaces. After all the punishment the wheel has taken I have never had to true it. The wheel is not particularly light, and also has a very quiet freewheeling sound. Then again you are not purchasing a top-end wheelset here, but it totally fulfills its intended purpose as an honest, inexpensive wheel
