It was time to replace my 8 year old Shimano ME7 which I love and decided to go with the best of the best. First ride today and I am very impressed with the new shoes. The amount of adjustability and the ability to loosen/tighten a single click in the middle of the ride is game changer for comfort. The shoes just hug my feet and feel very comfortable despite being a super stiff carbon sole shoe. Usually wear 10.5 US in different brands and 44.5 EU was perfect fit.

Outstanding adjustability, comfort with multiple arch inserts. You cannot find a better MTB shoe for a medium width foot. They become one with your feet and legs… like peddling on air. Strong insole transfers all your power to the peddles both up and down. Can’t wait for the 903.

After trying on multiple shoes from other manufacturer's, I finally found my fit with the S-Phyre. They felt great out of the box and right onto the bike. Even though they are on the more expensive side, its worth it to have happy feet with a high performing off-road cycling shoe. Recommended!

I had previously owned your lower priced silver shoe, which generally fits. OK, now I've purchased this and white and wide and it fits great and is very comfortable I am very happy with this only thing is, the price. Also, the closure is great for getting in and out of the shoe with no fuss now if you just make it in silver. Also loved the sole which is a softer no slip rubber.
I love the fit of these shoes, but the cleats are not durable. Be very careful if you need to hoof it on a rocky trail. The cleats tend to shear right off.Hey Shimano, put a more durable outsole on these things and you've got a bomb shoe!!
Bought these based on online assertions that they were ideal for riders with wide feet. That’s a false claim. Not only are they narrow, but they are uncomfortable and completely impractical for MTB riding. For anyone who has seen Bill Burr’s bit on “100% of the sandwich,” I would love to speak with the person who thinks I’m a rich person with small feet. I’ll never buy shimano shoes again.
This was my second pair of S-PHYRE Wide cycling shoes. My first pair were Road Shoes, which I LOVE. When I decided to start riding Gravel, I purchased this pair to accept the SPD cleats. They have been great as well.
Hands down the most comfortable shoe for your feet. Durability is also fantastic with roughly 3 to 4 seasons. I’ve had a few other brands and these just work really well for my feet. 100% recommend
I wrote a review on here a year ago complaining about the terrible soles that would routinely tear and shed cleats on most any hike-a-bike. In response, I got a note from Shimano that the company had reconfigured the sole. I tried again, and the reconfiguration worked! The sole is soft enough to walk on pavement or hardwood (when you forget something in the house) and tough enough to endure the dirt, dust and rocks of those little hikes I manage every so often. The fit is great, and there's a wide option. The Boa laces loosen over time during rides, but a little twist of the dial cures that. The platform is solid and transfers power very well. Only modification i make is to add custom footbeds. Just got a pair of these in blue. I was an avid user of Specialized S-works MTB shoes for years & thought I would try these. I think these run narrow. I’m a 45 in specialized, in these I’m a 46 Wide. The wide version feels perfect & roomy. My suggestion to Shimano is design a printable PDF shoe chart that shows the outline of all your sizes. That way a user can print it out, step on the chart & buy the right size the first time when shopping online. I had to buy three different pair before I got it right. Love the design, the detail & function is insane. The Velcro arch insert is pure genius! Kudos to your shoe designers!!
