Awesome rod, lots of power in blank. Casts small plastics easily. I have the 7'6" light blank. Biggest fish so far is 65cm flathead on 8lb braid. No probs for this rod.
Brought the ultralight rod, most expensive one I've purchased...Snapped about a foot from the tip. 3rd fish in... Not impressed. Hopefully warranty steps up..
Awesome rod has a nice backbone which helps steer fish away from snags can handle some larger fish on it.
Took it out on my first lockdown session. The rod’s weight is pretty balanced and around 95grams (lighter than lots of rods in similar price range). No problem with working jighead between 1/16oz and onwards. Instant hooked on a 45cm travelly after couple casts and landed it with no dramas.
Super weak rod butt, beware of putting it in a rod holder, mine creased on 1st use then shimano denied my warranty claim. Their customer service wasn't very good either. Last shimano product i buy!
For first time owner of a zodias fishing rod i think its well balanced pairing it with my stradic 2000fm reel and felt a lot tougher as well.
Great rods. I use the ultra light version.I have 2 of them. Broke one. My fault. Poking a lure off a snag. Replaced it with same.Ideal for EP lure fishing.
