I’ve been using the Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream for a few weeks now. The texture is soft and smooth with a little fragrance but now overpowering. A little goes a long way with this bottle so it should last awhile which is a good value for the price. I use it twice a day, morning and night. In the evening it’s use it after hydrating eye gel masks. Overall I feel like this is great for hydrating eyes which is my main concern. I don’t struggle with puffiness or major dark circles so I can’t attest to the effectiveness of that. I’ve seen some improvement in my fine lines and I feel like my eyes just glow. They feel less dull and noticeably brighter and softer. The package is a little “80s” but it’s cute and minimal. Shiseido wrinkle smoothing works amazing. This is the perfect cream to use over and under the eyes to smooth the skin and prep for makeup. The skin is bright moist and healthy looking. The eye cream is rich, smooth and lightly scented, a little too oily but very moisturising. One use it f this cream the problem was solved! My eyelids feel hydrated smooth. You need such a tiny amount of this cream, too. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone having dry skin around the eyes.

Love this moisturizer!!

Love this moisturizer! I use tretinoin and I usually use the skinfix barrier cream but that one wasn't absorbing like I wanted to (still love it). I bought this moisturizer thinking it was going to work for the night but it didn't because I felt like it wasn't moisturizing enough for the night as my skin really absorbed it. I live in a dry climate and have oily, acne prone skin and was afraid of using it during the day but this moisturizer really worked for me to use it in the AM. A little goes a long way and my skin feels very comfortable and moisturized but there are days in which I go heavier because I really need the extra moisture and it still absorbs really well and my sunscreen applies really good over it as well as my makeup considering I'm oily. Not bad but not great for super dry/sensitive skin

I have very dry, very sensitive skin and this cream was just kind of meh for me. It isn't really bad, but it's not good either - my skin needs a really rich, really juicy moisturizer to give it the drink it needs, and this one didn't quite cut it. I used it at night for about two months, and found my skin was quite dry again by morning. However, I didn't react to the cream and it didn't make me break out at all, so that's a plus. I would say if your skin is just a little bit dry, this cream might work for you. But if your skin is chronically quite dry, you're probably better off finding something a bit richer.

Not for mature skin

I just turned 65, I have been trying many moisturizers and serums etc. I purchased this moisturizer before Christmas , the only one left was the $100 container. I had some issues with redness and used a different product to help with the redness. I went past my 40 day return period. I started using it about 4 weeks after I purchased. There were good reviews and I was desperate to get something that would hydrate, smooth and help with fine lines. I kept noticing at the end if the day that I had alot if wrinkles, I wanted to cry. Again, those with mature skin , beware.

Superior Results and Luxurious Feel

This moisturizer has become my everyday go-to and an absolute necessity in my routine. I use it morning and night. Although I didn't notice the progressive improvement at first, I did take notice of how awful my skin looked when I wasn't consistent and skipped it a few days! Now I'm pretty diligent with remaining consistent and have seen a noticeable improvement to my 11s, forehead lines, and the lines around my mouth. My skin is smoother, plumper, and has a dewy glow. Shiseido feels luxurious and the multiple steps are meditative and relaxing. I highly recommend.

Thought I used a cream cleanser!

I recieved a little sample packet of this cream in an order. My skin isn't very sensitive, so I always try out samples. Nice way to discover new products!After using this product, I had to double check to make sure I wasn't using a cream cleanser. The frangrance threw me off; It smells heavily of soap to me. Like bar soap. I wouldn't perchance this for myself, because I feel like I need to rinse off. However, I love the consistency and would like it very much if it didnt have that soapy smell. :/

I would strongly advise you not to use this product. I've applied it twice, and unfortunately, both times my skin barrier was damaged. I consistently experience a burning sensation after using this product. It left my skin feeling excessively dry. I experience a constant burning sensation on my skin, even when I use regular water to wash my face. I had to purchase a rather pricey skin barrier cream. I experienced a severe adverse reaction after using this cream.
