I'm desperate for sunscreen that I can apply over makeup, especially in the warmer months here in NorCal (which is a huge chunk of the year). At the Fort Lauderdale Dillard's associate was so nice and explored few colors with me. Not much left for this discontinued item but they still have few and color now I love "light ochre." At first I thought it was light but she and another cosmetic associate recommended this color. Once set on my face it was not too light and it was amazing. It covered my rosacea- all the redness and even imperfect forehead liens. I had to go back and buy few more and one for my mom. I am BEYOND devastated that this UV protective powder foundation is being dis continued!!! I just recently discovered & it’s by far the best powder foundation I have ever used. Having mature aging, plus oily skin with large pores, it is very difficult to find a powder foundation that doesn’t accentuate pores & wrinkles. I have been wanting to get away from liquid foundation & this is PERFECT! I’ve read the reviews on the synchro refresh powder foundation & it sounds pretty aweful & no spf. Please consider bringing this back!!!
I used to live in Hawaii and had too much sun exposure.When I returned to the Mainland, I started taking better care of my skin.This spf compact foundation has been my go to foundation for over 3 decades!I’m told I look younger than my age and this product is one of the reasons.I can’t believe it’s been discontinued!Please reconsider or create something comparable with a higher spf.

My problem is discoloration and I have used Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation for years and have loved it as well, but I needed to use concealer to hide the discoloration and it was time consuming to use several brushes to buff everything. It also wears off especially when wearing a mask. The Shiseido Compact Foundation easily covers discoloration better than a concealer and stays in place for may hours without touchup. The great thing is the foundation is in compact form so you can touch up easily if you need to. The only caveat is I have discoloration but good textured, poreless skin with very few wrinkles. Ive been using this product for over 20 year. a reason for buying this product from Harvey Norman, a little bit less than any other online store. for price wise, not too bad. Im happy and will definetely getting more from here. this product never disappoint me. top quality and fair money.
Great product! I agree with the other reviews; why would you discontinue this product when you have so many faithful customers? The replacement powder foundation is awful. Not only is the compact too big, the powder is not creamy, and does not have SPF; poor quality all around. Please keep this original foundation powder and compact!! If not, I will be discontinuing my use of Shiseido products.
Have been using this product for almost 20 years and there's NOTHING like it:- Natural coverage - looks very subtle but covers all skin imperfections- Stays on ALL DAY (and I am someone who touched their face all the time)- Doesn't dry the skin- Does not transfer- SPF- Easy to applyToo bad it's discontinued :(
