Provides adequate protection so teeth don't grind together. Reasonable priced. Didn't need it for sports. Like that the mouth guard is easily moldable to personalize it for your own mouth. Comfortable at night so sleep is not interrupted.Negatives: Wished it came in clear not solid black color so I can wear it during the day. Can't talk with them on like advertised. Can't drink with it on like advertised.

This mouthguard is a great starter mouthguard. Not meant for petite mouths such as my teen daughters. However, we made it work. The iridescent faded a bit in moulding process but still looks okay. We are okay with this until it is competition time.

NOTE: If you use Shock Doctor's Mouthguard Case, be careful. Depending on how big it is after fitting to your mouth, it might be small enough to fall out of the case. Happened to my first one; went to the gym after BJJ practice and I kept the case connected to my water bottle but somewhere along the way the mouthguard fell out without me knowing. Bought another one in a brighter color and now I keep it in my bag; no problems since.The mouthguard itself fits great. Might take a few tries fitting to your mouth, but with patience and some retries you'll get it. I use it primarily for Brazilian jiujitsu. Offers excellent breathability, the ability to talk well, and sufficient protection for my particular hobby.
Purchased with the intent of using for grappling. This mouthguard was extremely difficult to mold. Once I was finally able to mold it to fit, it practically felt like I put a stick of gum over my teeth so definitely did not make me confident about providing adequate protection. I quickly discarded this and will be looking for a new mouthguard.
I am very pleased with the Microfit Mouthguard. I bought it to replace a nighttime bite guard that cost several hundred dollars from my former dentist. It took me several tries to mold the guard to my teeth, but the result was an excellent fit—even better than the one I got from my dentist. Highly recommended. Excellent value.
Very disappointed. We have used these several times in the past, and it seems the material has changed. The guard shrunk while soaking and we could not get it back to a good shape, and it seemed thicker than in the past.
I love Shock Doctor mouth guards. I have used them my whole life as an athlete. This one however is not very good. The fitting process was difficult, it took me 4 times to get it right but now it is super uncomfortable. it feels like a hard piece of plastic around my teeth. I hope I can return this or get a refund or something.
Clever product, thin so it doesn’t cause the choking feeling some players get wearing mouth guards. Provides for a custom like fitment. A bit of a process to fit it but good instructions and product has forgiveness meaning you can redo your fitment anytime. Example, my son loss some teeth due to growing up and we were able to redo the fitment to adapt to the new teeth. Had to buy this new one as he chewed his last one lol. That said, the last one lasted several years and I expect the same with this one. Price is higher than other mouth guards off the shelf hence the 4/5 stars. Good product.
Daughter is using this mouthpiece for lacrosse. She likes it. It's our second one. The first one didnt go well. This one is better. She likes it.
