I waited for my order for 2 weeks to arrive and when it did, I found somebody's hair inside the helmet. I guess it was already exposed in a showroom for testing but I didn't know that. I would have preferred to be new, or at least to let me know that it was tested before sending it.And usually when a shop sell an displayed / used product, it should have a bigger discount for the inconvenience.

This is a great helmet overall.Pros: good airflow, fit is snug, and the ratcheting strap system is awesome. With the included Pinlock face shield defogger this is an excellent bargain for what you get. The drop-down sun visor works perfect although it took me a few times to establish muscle memory to hit it right. I recommend this helmet.

I came from many years wearing a GT Air (the original version) and I was looking forward to replacing my helmet with the GT Air 2. The helmet is perfect in just about every way - super high quality fit and finish, fits me well, it's quiet and not too heavy. It vents well and it has an internal sun visor. It ticks all the boxes for me.Except I had to return it due to one major issue. The D ring chin strap has been replaced with a ratchet strap. No matter what i tried, i could not get the ratchet to stop digging into my throat - super uncomfortable! Note that I am a regular sized guy - almost 5 foot 11, and almost 170 pounds. So a very standard neck size/shape.Huge shame - I am a lifelong Shoei customer and have moved to a different brand just because of the ratchet ... I love the features of in this helmet. The removable padding, Pinlock Anti-Fog Leg, and Built-In QSV-2 sun shield is great. I like the ratchet chin strap, but it needs to be repositioned due to putting pressure on my Adams Apple. My main reason for giving this helmet three stars is due to Shoei catering this helmet to the Sena SRL 2 Communication System. I prefer the Cardo PackTalk Edge for many reasons. If the molded cutouts for the speakers and microphone was just a little larger in diameter, the helmet would work for other communication systems. The channel for the microphone wiring is on the left side of the helmet. If the channel was on both sides, it would work for other communication systems. I had to tape my microphone wiring to the right side of the helmet ... MoreI love the features of in this helmet. The removable padding, Pinlock Anti-Fog Leg, and Built-In QSV-2 sun shield is great. Hopefully, in the future Shoei will not cater to one specific communication system but design the helmet that works with several communication systems.
High quality in every aspect, comfortable and very good looking. I was looking for a sport touring helmet with integrated bluetooth and this is one of the best out there. Only downside (and reason why not 5 stars) for me is that the micro-ratchet chin strap is a bit bulky and digs into my Adam's apple. Making it less tight helps somewhat.
I've been a Shoei guy for decades. The GT Air II I just bought is to replace my GT Air I that's getting long in the tooth. It's exceptionally good as Shoei helmets all are. Excellent fit (very comfortable) and finish (the Japs are REALLY good at this). The GT Air IIs are on sale to make way for the incoming GT Air III. Buy one while your size is still in stock. You won't be disappointed. As an aside, Revzilla has provided me with the best customer service I have ever had. I buy from them because of that.
It's light and well done vented. Having been used to D rings the quick release buckle is easy to use. It is amongst the quietest helmets I've owned. I did have a little difficulty operating the sun visor, mainly as the sliding switch is angled whereas my previous helmet was a more logically vertical operation. I've yet to fit the pinlock insert so can't yet comment if it works well or not.
Quality piece of head wear, good noise reduction performance, comfortable fit and excellent value for money. Only downside is the misting at slow speed although I knew this before purchasing. Really pleased with my purchase.
Very good product. My second shoei helment. My first was a question which was very similar to this model. It was a size small and fit perfectly. I ordered this in small also but I was going to destroy my glasses trying to get them on. So I returned it for a medium. Dennis kirk was great no hassles what so ever. The medium is just a touch bigger then I would like, but can live with it. They are great helmets.
Really a very high quality helmet. It fits like a glove without pressure points, is lightweight, and the ventilation is amazing. Very quiet when closed. No buffeting or head shake. I myself don't mind paying a premium price when the product performs as promised. This one does.
