Shoes Vans Sk8-Hi - Pig Suede/Honey Gold/True White 42

Born in 1978, the Vans SK8-Hi derives its name from the English word "Skater High", and it is Vans' first high-top shoe with a sidestripe design. Renowned for its recognizable silhouette and side stripes, the SK8-Hi is one of Vans' most iconic classic shoes. Vans often collaborates with many artists based on SK8-Hi, while retaining classic shoe shapes and design elements, it has launched contemporary trend shoes with more personality and characteristics, which has become a timeless classic in the hearts of sneaker lovers.

I love Vans but would like to be able to buy single shoes.

The shoes are great, I love the sk8 Silhouette! I always use the website to get the sales as I skate downhill slalom and scrub through the sole of so many pairs a year that I can't justify paying full price. I don't worry about the skate versions with the more robust uppers because I destroy the left sole before the uppers get any damage. I would like to see more mid tops on sale though as I think they are the perfect balance between support and free movement.I'd also like to mention that I read that your new global marketing manager would like to reconnect with Vans's life long customer base of the skateboarding community more. If Vans really want to make a difference to the skate community and be more sustainable, then you should start selling single shoes! I ... MoreThe shoes are great, I love the sk8 Silhouette! I think most forms of skating can damage one shoe more than the other and being able to replace one would help save money and the planet.

Great product. Shoes were easy to order, shipped quickly, and fit great. The only downside is the suede coloring is coming off on the laces almost immediately. I tied to look at different lacing options and after three attempts to get the Laci g just right I found the white laces were turning a dirty yellow and had to wash them before moving forward.

First time I've bought a pair of Vans, usually buy Adidas. I like the style of the Vans but they aren't the easiest to put on in the first place and more importantly the sole isn't cushioned at all. I've just worn them around Berlin for the day n holiday. 30k+ steps and whereas previous Adidas boots have been fine, the soles of my feet are bloody sore from the lack of any padding/cushion in the sole of the Vans. I've got four more days to go and they are the only trainers I have!

Not the canvas Sk8-Hi
12 December 2017

These are not the canvas Sk8-Hi. I specifically wanted the canvas uppers with no suede, so I ordered a Mens' 6/Womens' 7.5 in these. My order confirmation listed these as the Canvas Sk8-Hi, but my order tracking listen them as just the Sk8-Hi. I was suspicious then, and sure enough, when they arrived, I was extremely disappointed to find that the uppers were made of suede as well as canvas. I contacted customer service and was told, "Upon checking the item's description, the suede upper is indeed part of the design of the shoe including the fabric content label," even though that is not listed in the description of this item. About the sizing, I wear a Women's 7.5 in Nike and I believe a 7 in Converse. These in a 7.5 fit well in length but with enough room to add ... MoreThese are not the canvas Sk8-Hi. I will be returning these. I am disappointed in both the inaccurate product label and description, as well as the customer service.

Not the quality Van I'm use to
19 July 2023

First, the colors were not as pictured, they were more of an an off orange than peach or honey. Secondly, the quality around the sole was very poorly constructed. They stuck out a lot and looked awkward. Looked as if someone left a lot of extra rubber and didn't cut off the extra, then decided to enclose it with the final rubber sole around the shoe. I had high hopes for these but I would not purchase again.

Second Pair of Sk8-Hi
6 November 2022

This is my second time buying Sk8-Hi. I bought my first pair in early summer after searching online for a white high top sneaker. I liked the design right away and read other reviews about sizing. Here's what you need to know:Do they fit true to size? Yes. I bought an 11, and normally wear an 11 in other tennis shoes. When you first put them on, they MAY feel slightly tight. Don't worry about it. These shoes will stretch. It's a comfortable, all day fit, and after 3 months, I liked them so much that I bought another pair in black. The black pair arrived timely and fit like a charm. Not a snug fit and true to size. So, listen, don't size up or down, order in the size you normally wear and you won't regret it! I'm a VAN shoe wearer for life.

Sk*-Hi Shoes
21 April 2024

For as long as I can remember, I have always worn Vans sneakers. I started off with the low tops, however, over the past few years I have gotten into the Sk8-Hi products. I now own about 10 pairs. They are always so comfortable and are perfect for both winter and summer weather. I have never had an issue with rubbing on my ankles or even them not fitting. These are great shoes that I would recommend to anyone! So comfy too!

Skate Wear Meets High Design
30 October 2023

I've been wearing Vans since I was little in the late 60's. I grew up in Orange County, CA and started with original Vans classic deck shoes and moved on to customs in grade school. I got my first pair of Old Skool high tops in 8th grade (blue and white) and was the only girl I knew, who wore "guys skate shoes". Many trips around the sun later and EVERY girl/woman from grade school to adult age, these days are sporting Old Skools. However, this pair kicks it up a notch. I love the one-tone light camel/tan leather body (even though this pic shows a white "jazz", which is the line on the side and mine are all one color). They are cool, modern, and very stylish - almost have a designer feel for the office or dressier options. Anyway . . . have had a ton of compliments ... MoreI've been wearing Vans since I was little in the late 60's. The best thing - I got them on sale for under $50 online!
