I bought this shoe, because I wanted to have a shoe with maximum boardfeel with classic look. I bought size us8,5 even I am normally around size us9. I like tight feeling for the fit when I am skating. This size worked perfectly for me.I have been skating indoor parks and and few outdoor sessions with these shoes now and the are perfect. They were good to skate ready from the box and that is what I love about the Vans shoes. Grip from the sole is perfect and padded collar is perfect for me to keep my heel still. I also like a bit puffier tongue compare to similar style shoes. It offers a bit more protection without compromising how the shoes are feeling. Great for wide feet! The Low Sidestripe is a nice fashionable touch to a classic and comfortable skate shoe. Shipping was easy from Tillys. They had colorways that weren't available from vans . com. Will do business here again!
I love the chukka low, but this order you sent me navy/gum and not the light grey that I ordered and also what you sent isn't even in my size. Must have mixed it up with someone else's order. I sent an email to customer service and haven't heard anything back. I'm traveling for the next month and have no way to return the incorrect shoes. I would appreciate some help here. Never had this happen.

I've worn Chukka Lows for around 10 years now - they are the perfect shoe for me for skating, and general use. Lose a star because, for the first time I can remember, they now have the vans stripe on them. Much prefer this shoe without said stripe.
Pop cush is great and the shoe fits awesome.I have wide feet and these did really well for that.
super comfy right out of the box, Vans has definitely made improvements since the last pair of chukka low I had. I can't wait to fully break them in to reach maximum comfort.
