A well crafted block. With the block's design you may find a knife removal clearance problem when placing or removing large knives in/from the tallest part of the block. If you need to store your block and knives under kitchen cabinets - Measure first. You may want to find a place where there is nothing above the block that will interfere with inserting or removing knives from the block.

Great for what we have at this time
While on vacation from ON we purchased a number of items one of them was this knife block and can honestly say all that we bought from this great little shop has not disappointed, quality products, great staff and will definitely be ordering more from them.
This block is the right size for all the knives you need. 1 petty, 1 vegetable, 1 paring, 1 chefs knife, and 1 utility. Plus hone and scissors. I love it.
What a beautiful knife block! I got this to go with my Shun Classic knife set, and while it's slots will not accommodate a knife longer than 8 inches, it's still a gotgeous block that fits perfectly in small spaces! Great quality and looks exactly as depicted! The dark wood and grain look so amazing!
