Fantastic knife, beautifully balanced with a pleasant weight to it. Notably better than a santoku knife we have in an expensive set from a well known German brand.Do yourself a favour, don’t pick up yet another cheap knife in Ikea, spend a bit of money on this one, it’s very versatile, it’ll last for ages and offer much cooking pleasure. Mind your fingers, it is sharp! ;)

This is a must have for anyone looking for a nice Santoku! razor sharp out of the box, slices through all veg like butter. Previously only used Victorinox in the past but this is a whole other level, the transition from wood to steel on the handle is flawless, can't feel where they join and the D shaped handle is amazing to hold....now I just need to upgrade all my knives!

I had always fancied a Japanese cooks knife but already had what I thought were good knives.Having decided to treat myself I was delighted with the prompt delivery and the quality packing.The knife is much sharper than the ones I’ve been using although they are very good.It’s now my first choice for cutting vegetables and meat and I’m seriously thinking about buying a smaller knife for peeling veg etc.The handle is very comfortable and provides good control.Go on, treat yourself!

I was a little worried at such a good price that this would be a fake or a scam, but received the genuine item and quite quickly as well!There were delivery issues but the sender was very kind and kept in touch all the way.Would definitely buy here again.Wish they sold more of the Kai classic knives. The bread knife, nakiri and utility knife would be great to see.

It's very sharp, cuts with precision. I must admit its heavier than I thought it would be, also the D shaped handle wouldn't shut a left hander as well. Good for cutting most foods, best on larger things like pumpkins & zucchini. Overall its the best knife I've had in the kitchen.
