great knife really slices nice and long enough to make cutting like cutting through butter, expensive but if you want a forever knife it is nice

Great for everything knife!

We received this knife as a gift for our wedding. As people who love to cook, you know you're only as good as your knives. We absolutely love the Shun knives in general, but this carving knife has been great for a variety of needs. They are light, but not flimsy and cut through nearly anything with ease. I would highly recommend this and the paring knife as our personally most used knives.
