Have used Shure corded mikes in the past, but the wireless functionality was a first for me. Arrived well packed and protected. Easy to follow instructions, and the equipment appears to be well engineered. Have only used the gear on one live gig so far, but the response from friends in attendance indicated an improvement in the vocals over our previous gear. Not cheap equipment, but I was prepared to pay for quality in stead.

Decided to order a new set of mics + receiver when one of the transmitters in one of my PG58 wireless mics started playing up.I was able to compare the Beta 58 mics side by side against the PG58 and they are dramatically different - so much clearer and carries your voice much better.I was very nervous about whether or not the premium price was worth the jump (even after watching numerous youtube videos but, now that I have tested them in real life, I absolutely do not have any regrets.The BLX receiver is simple to set up and, going from an SVX receiver, having an on/off button is super handy.
