The Sidi Genius 10 is an ideal all-round road bike shoe for men that has seen significant improvements compared to its predecessor. The Carbon Composite 20 sole is a high quality, carbon fiber reinforced nylon sole that provides great comfort to the entire foot. In addition, the addition of carbon ensures that the sole is extremely strong, so that every pedal stroke results in an optimal power transmission. The Tecno-3 closure system provides an ergonomic shoe closure over the entire length of the foot. Even when cycling, this fit is easy and quick to adjust. The Comfort Fit insole has a memory effect, which means that the sole can remember and preserve the position of the foot. This makes pressure points in specific places thinner or thicker, resulting in a great comfort for your foot. In short, are you looking for a high quality road bike shoe with an extremely sturdy sole that is easy to adjust? Then the Sidi Genius 10 is the perfect choice for you.

Couldn’t be happier!! A great price for a fantastic road shoe with Sigma’s usual excellent service and discount. The Sidi Genius 10 road shoes are the most comfortable and stylish shoes I’ve had. I am usually a 7 UK size but went half a size up and the fit is perfect. I previously had Fizik shoes which are also good for smaller, slightly slender feet. But Sidi sizing and fit shaping is way superior. The construction, materials quality and design of the shoe is very high and I can easily imagine wearing these in 5-10 years time AND you can buy replacement parts for likely wear and tear areas such as heal and dial system. The Sidi dial system itself works well - I’ve seen review comments that prefer the Boas system suggesting this is a weakness of all Sidi shoes. I ... MoreCouldn’t be happier!! Boas dials can be easily adjusted on the fly through an over shoe when worn in winter whereas the Sidi dial system don’t really allow this.2. There are lighter shoes for the money. Personally I prefer a composite sole to a completely stiff carbon one. Comfort trumps weight in my book. (313g for Size 45).3. These aren’t cheap but the quality of workmanship on offer here is exceptional and I imagine these will easily outlast all other shoes under £200 making them good value for money in the longer term.4. Smaller Italian fitting means Sidi shoes in general are unlikely to be a good match for those with large, wide feet.Buy them if you are undecided - you won’t regret it.

Having very narrow feet I often struggle to find a shoe that fits. These Sidis are perfect for me. Obviously, that means that others may find them tight and might need to size upI'm also a fan of the ratchet system which I prefer to the Boa system I have on other shoes. The soles are stiff but comfortable and I haven't experienced any hot spots so far. Build quality is top not too..Excellent value at this price point , throughly recommend.Brilliant service and delivery from Sigma too

First time I've spent this amount of money on a pair of cycling shoes and I'm pleased to say well worth it. My only concern was that I tend to be in between in shoe sizes I.e. often need a half size up in certain makes of shoe. That said, I read other reviews and felt confident that the size chart was the way to go. I measured my feet and it came down to if I wanted 3mm wiggle room or 7mm (half size up). I went for a half size up and they are perfect. I've done a few hundred KM's in these shoes now and have no issues. I bought white and they look great!

Until now I've used mtb shoe set up and have changed to these which were twice the price so I had high hopes all the reviews were 5 stars and pretty much all said the shoes were true to size so thought I'd try these as I was buying online which we all know can be problematic and I agree with all the previous reviews and won't look back on this purchase. The fit for me is exceptional with added arch supports and just all round comfort style and material is of a good quality, I hasten to add I got these shoes at a reduced price, which would be something we could all appreciate. It says would I recommend this product, wholeheartedly is the answer.
So I thought that it was time to get some new shoes. When I started serious cycling, Miguel Indurain was winning the TdF and wore Genius 1's. If it was good enough for him...so I had a couple of pairs of them and then moved onto Genius 2's. Over the years I found that I couldn't afford new shoes every year and then with less cycling (more work-less play) I just didn't buy any new cycling shoes. Those Genius 2's kept going and going which proves how well Sidi shoes are made. (and they still have some life in them yet)So when I came to buy some new shoes they had to be Sidi because of the fit and quality of manufacture. I bought the dayglow green ones and gosh aren't they bright. A fashion tip though is to always wear these with matching dayglow green socks (Sigma - are you paying attention? We need matching socks.). Over the years Sidi have improved the Genius shoe with sensible upgrades while retaining the quality. I tried these out on a couple of long rides (about 3 to 4 hours) and found them very comfortable and easier to adjust on the go than the old G2's. I like to loosen my shoe slightly on the flat and then tighten for hills and sprints and the fastening system gave a nice even support when tight or loose. There was no pinching or blisters indicating good attention to finish internally and the soles gave a very firm support. (I am running these with Look cleats) with little to no flexing ( I thought that these were stiffer than G'2's but this was reassuring not uncomfortable) so you get to more feel through the shoe and better transmission. They are well ventilated and I didn't feel a chill on any fast descents. I see the next model up has a vent in the toe and wonder what this would be like to ride.So a great shoe and up to the standard that I expect from Sidi.
Bought a month back and used a number of times.First time using sidi, always wanted to try them.A wider shoe than the normal brand I use, the closing system is good but you wouldn't want to tighten while on the bike. Insole fitted as I found the sidi insole too thin.
When I first open the box the optic of the shoe were underwhelmed. But as I inspect the shoe and try it on n walk around, the shoe start to grow on me. The design is simple versus the old genius I bought 10 yrs ago. It is lighter and with Mega fit it feels great on my toe box and instep. The BOA like fastener were fun to play with n gives a different look. Went for a test ride n it felt great n deliver pedal power directly. I recommend 1 size up.
After 50+ years of cycling, my first proper road shoes, and for a long time I have wanted a pair of Sidi shoes. They have not disappointed. After a couple of weeks of tweaking the set up, and getting used to the pedals and clipping in after the relative simplicity of SPDs, I am enjoying a very comfortable and positive ride. They are more comfortable on longer rides if they are not too tight, and can be easily adjusted on the move for climbs etc. I would recommend these shoes. I used the on line ordering and collection from the shop so that I could try them on and chat with the staff there to get the size right. Great shoes.
Had these shoes for about a month now and so far they've proven to be a good choice. My normal shoe size is UK 9.5 and Sidi 44 fit perfectly. The dial closure system takes a little getting used to but it's easy to tighten and loosen to get the optimum fit. The composite sole is pretty stiff and I didn't notice any flex when putting the power down (I'm 70kgs/ 178cms). I'm finding the shoes comfortable but they might not suit someone who has wide feet. The uppers are easy to clean and the shoes dry reasonably quickly after a downpour.
Longevity cannot be measured yet but as to fit and function, these shoes are spot on. I retired my Vittoria shoes to my dedicated trainer bike and decided to get a dedicated on the actual road shoe to take their place. I like the BOA system and while I view my foot as average, the sizing was right on course. The only thing I am worried with are the tightening buckles that flip up.......I wonder when I get to daily riding if that system will wear in regards to the resistance of flipping it up and back to a closed position?????? Time will tell. But so far I am happy and the sole is stiff and provides an excellent platform for mashing the pedals.
