I've ordered these wipes on a whim, party because I suck at bike cleaning, partly because I had a discount coupon.It turned out to be a great purchase. I have purchased these wipes for several years now. They work great. My only issue this time around is the canister leaked some of the liquid. Most of it was contained in the plastic wrap but some did make it out into the box. Luckily it did not get on my hat that was shipped in the same box. Whew!

A friend mentioned these to me and so I bought a canister. LOVE EM! perfect for wiping down a chain or anything greasy. Now I carry a couple in my toolkit on long raids in case I need to clean something up like my greasy fingers after fixing a broken chain. I've been miserly about using them and can make one last and tackle many jobs -- they're tough and durable and so long as you don't let them dry out it's surprising how far you can make one go. Definitely check this product out!

These wipes are crazy good! I really wasnt expecting much when I started to clean my oily cassette (I used Synergetic). I rolled up the wipe into a strip, rough side facing out, and started to 'floss' the cassette. With just one floss, I could already see my cassette's original silver. Within 3 min, the whole cassette was clean enough.Very easy to clean the oil and grease very easily from my bead-blasted Ti frame.I've never been this impressed with a cleaning product. Even a dedicated foam spray drivetrain degreaser with a toothbrush isn't this easy.One thing I dislike is the smell. It has this nauseating citrus-y smell that lingers from the cannister.

Wherever I’m working can dictate what I have available for cleaning. Shop towels, parts cleaner machine, brake clean can, or whatever. Everything has its place. For every day wipe downs of dirty parts and hands it’s perfect. Deep cleaning a chain or cassette is not going to work but everything else is fair game.
I bought a canister of these on a whim, not really expecting much out of them, but they're surprisingly useful for, like, everything. I use them to wipe down my frame if it gets dirty but I don't want to break out the hose. They're great for cleaning brake tracks -- I've used them on aluminum and carbon wheels with good results. They're great for getting grease off your hands, and they even work well for cleaning your chain. I wet the chain with water, then run it through a gear wipe while backpedaling, then rinse again with water and the results are just as good as using a dedicated chain cleaning device.
Not much to say beyond the title. The wipes work amazingly. Act perfectly as a quick "bike bath" when you just want to do a quick wipe down. Great for deep cleaning too. Plus, the wipes help clean up shop messes and your hands really effectively. A few swipes and almost all the grease and dirt you're trying to remove will be gone. You can get a ton of use out of each wipe.
Another quality product from a quality firm. These wipes are nice. it is well thought out. The size is just right. The material is very strong and versatile. It captures drivetrain grim and cleans smooth surfaces equally well.I try to use one wipe per cleaning (two if the bike is very dirty). First, I use the wipe to clean the frame and components. Then, I use the wipe to clean the drivetrain. Almost all of the surface grease and grim would removed. Finally, I use a regular shop paper towel to soak up the remaining fine residue.After the drivetrain is cleaned, I use Silca's new Synergetic Wet Lube to lubricate the chain for a quiet and smooth drivetrain.
Sure it gets the oil/wax off your chain quickly, but you might get slower if you breath or touch the endocrine disrupting fragrances too often. Silca, please give me a reason you put these in. My wife won't even allow these in the garage as the smell is overpowering. The warning on the bottle "Contains fragrance allergens" doesn't make me feel any better as they don't have to list all the crap that goes into synthetic fragrances.
