This pad has proven itself to be best by far than any brand I've tried out there. This brand has helped house trained 5 yorkie puppies that we've had over time and its never failed.Other brands that were more expensive looked nice and description tempted me enough to try it but disappointed in the end. It didn't leak but it "sweated" and disgusting to find that out when I had to change the pad.Don't waste your money looking for "good" pee pads like I've done. This is the one I'll stick with every time we get a puppy that needs training.Make sure you get the one with the off white plastic backing. That's the one that works. There were some that had the blue backing and for some reason those didn't fare as well as the whites. Good luck with your indoor potty traing!

This size may not be big enough except for a very small dog or puppy. My pup keeps going on the edges - so urine gets on the rug. I have used a dog training scent on occasion in the middle of pad to encourage her to go there (although the pad is supposed to be scented for that).I am still very glad to have these on rainy days or if I can’t get her in the backyard quickly enough for some reason.

I have a 12 year old Corgi who has DM and is paralyzed in his hind quarters. Moreover, it's caused him to be incontinent and his distended bladder causes him to not be able to empty it by himself. So, I have to help. These pads do a good job in trapping the urine and does not leak through. Some I've tried have been too thin but these are about right for the intended purpose.Due to his problem, I go through some 12-15 pads a day, elspecially when he had a UTI, but they work and that's all you could ask for. He still has to be cleaned up as he urinates during the night unknowingly. the only thing that would make the pads better is to wick the wetness away from him which I imagine few do but I'm content with the Simple Solution pads despite that.

I use these puppy training pads to line the bottom of my 2 Starling's cage. They take vigorous baths and spill A LOT of water. These work excellent for soaking up the water so the bottom of their cage isn't wet! If they work this well for birds....they'll work most excellent for puppy training!
Simple Solution Training premium dog pads are worthless. They allegedly hold up to 6 cups. Not only do they not hold nearly that much, when i pick up the soiled pad, there is liquid beneath it that smells like urine! Totally wasted my money.
We used for a brief time with our puppy. She is potty trained now. These work very well, now I use them to line the cat litter boxes under litter bags to catch leaks!
These pads are smaller and you have to double stack them to keep your floors dry. They also cost more then better pads. Cant believe this is the best Petco could find to sell. Cancelled my auto on these. Not sure what the other reviewers have bought in past but these are really bad.
I reviewed awhile ago and was wary when I saw the picture of the "new style" pad on the box in the ad, this is STILL the same GREAT pad, just new style. I use them under my CAT litter boxes (he's la big cat and sometimes does not realize he's hanging over the edge. The pads catch what falls on them and the floor below the pads remains clean. My late (now angel kitty) was diabetic and due to that pee'd like a race horse, the pads made everything no-stress for us both. GREAT PRODUCT!
