If I still had 20/20 vision then I would have given this mirror 10 stars but I don't. I just assumed it was 5X magnification like my other Simple Human stand up mirror that I can't live without in my bathroom but it's only 3X. It doesn't work for me unless I have my glasses on and that defeats the purpose. For those of you that can see good I'd say get it because you will love and I also bought the separate case for it although the one that comes with is sufficient. I kept it since it still helps when I'm away from home and need it for touch ups.

I have this mirror, I even bought the compact case for extra protection. A complete waste of money. I packed this in my carryon between clothes and soft items, and when I took the mirror out of the case at my destination, the mirror was cracked. Thinking it was a defective mirror, I purchased a second one. The next time I traveled, again I packed it in a carryon between clothes and soft items, and again the mirror cracked. Total waste of $160, do not buy.

The brightest setting of the light is perfect and it’s magnified enough for me to see my pores clearly and an errant eyebrow hair, etc. Small- fits in your hand. Perfect for purse. However, this is CRAZY EXPENSIVE. It was worth it for me because I can’t do my makeup in my car mirror. I’m too old. But if u can still apply mascara in your car mirror without scratching a cornea, you don’t need this... yet.

This mirror is slim and compact and about 4 inches in diameter. I purchased the brushed silver color. I use this for travel, the back ring on the mirror helps you hold the mirror and doubles as a kickstand if you're doing your makeup in the hotel and bathroom area is occupied. The light is a true daylight setting. This is one of those nifty things you never knew you needed, but once you have it, end up using it quite often. This mirror is a little too big for a evening clutch, but hey I take it with me and just do final touch up in the car and leave it in the glove compartment. This I believe is great for vacation and travel. You can charge this mirror using a USB.
While the mirror has the perfect magnification and provides great lighting, the battery life after a full charge is horrible. I started tracking the amount of time I was using it once I realized I was charging pretty frequently. I am getting maybe 20 minutes on a charge. The item description says a “week” of usage, you might get that if you only use 3 minutes a day.
This little mirror is very functional and convenient especially with the feature that automatically turns on the LED when you pull the mirror out of its sleeve. I also love that it is rechargeable. I gave this an average 3 star rating because 1. I was looking for a travel mirror which could stand up taller so that I could easily put my make up one - this one was not high enough but was a good size 2. The price point of $100 is a bit steep in my opinion for something like this (I'd been looking at other LED travel mirrors in the $25-$50 price range). I am unable to speak to the longevity of a charge on the mirror since I returned it once receiving but I would imagine it is not a battery drainer due to the LED lights.

This mirror is so nice! The light is bright enough to help you out when you’re up early and the sun isn’t up yet (I rely solely on natural lighting because I can see best and this mirror definitely mimics natural light very well). I do use the finger loop on the back to hold the mirror and the magnification is just the right amount, although it does have a “sweet spot” where things look the most clear. You can even get some nice lighting from this for photos like a ring light! Super happy with this purchase as I have never been a person who can do their makeup in a stationary mirror on a vanity or table.
Love it, Love it, Love it! This mirror is by far my favorite hand held mirror I’ve ever owned. I use it all the time. It’s an awesome mirror that lets you see everything with great lighting. It’s like a miniature version of the Simplehuman mirror on the stand but can be taken while traveling, on the go, at home, or anywhere. It’s not too big & not too small. I’m so glad they made a hand held Simplehuman mirror! Makes it easier & quicker for me to leave the house since my mirror is always with me & I can put my makeup on the go. Thanks Simplehuman for thinking of us!
Didn’t know how much I needed it until I got it. Assuming it’s going to last for years, this little mirror is worth the price. Has usb charger and turns itself off and on when you slide it in the pouch. Cunningly designed little ring on back for your finger, snap closure for the case, the quality of all its parts- it’s just perfect. The problem others have mentioned with brightness I have not experienced. Three brightness levels are easily adjusted. I use it at least once a day at home and it’s going to be invaluable for traveling. Can’t wait to get one for my daughter!
